One thing isn't clear yet. Are there going to be games in 4K version? Let's say for example Witcher 3 on PS4 is 1080p. Are the developers gonna release Witcher 3 4K version? If that happened, it means re-earn trophies. re-play the game to level up gears, weapons, items.

Am I gonna expect MGS5 TPP to be released in 4K version.

We've seen games remastered to HD for 8th gen consoles. So we expect 4K releases of games we played in 1080p on 9th gen consoles.

And do I need a 4K TV? I have FullHD TV. So I'm not sure how 4K games will look like on FullHD TV.

Well the video said they get upscaled. And they claimed that this has been happening for a while so users wouldn't notice, but in the PS3 era CoD games honestly looked like crap on 1080p monitors since they ran native 720p.

But yeah, you'd have to be running a 4K monitor/tv in order to get the 4K results. Same as HD on previous generations. If you're using it on an HDTV that doesn't support 4K, it'll just run at the highest resolution that television can render, usually 1080p nowadays.

Developers might release enhanced versions of already-released video games for the new 4K capabilities. It'll vary.

I'll just trade in my old one towards it and pay the difference. Usually they just release a slim version, which I don't buy. This one will actually make a difference since my TV can run 4K, so it should look cool.

Technology is moving so fast, I find it annoying but whatever. I'm not buying another ps4 after this though, so hopefully they don't pull some shit.

All the PS4.5 is, is a "Slim" PS4, and most likely in 2-3 years they'll throw a "Super Slim" model at us as well. Until my PS4 kicks the bucket or the PS5 comes out. The most I will do is upgrade the harddrive a terra if not more when the time comes.

console people might as well buy a PC at this point
What would the point in that be? That's the one thing that I never understood about this hole "PC Master Race" shit. I am a computer technician so I know how expensive it is to have a top of the line Gaming PC, and that can easily run you 3-5 times as much as a console will run you and won't even last you as long as a console can if your smart.

New shit comes out for PC's YEARLY (obviously not including the games themselves) and that can easily take your pc costs to soar exponentially higher than a console will ever cost you. So a "slim" model coming out every 3-4 years of the current gen, that's nothing new its been happening since what the PSOne? Gameboy? SNES? Genesis? It will cost you less in the long run and you'll still be able to play a lot of the same games.
