Who the heck said that? You should not use alt to rep, vote ect.. for yourself as it's gross.

For a purpose as profile creation, I find it good. Even mods have their alt account ("NB Staff"), so what's the problem?

Sorry to spam but I've got a 3rd way out as idea, let's say

Why don't you create an Alt Account! You will customize this account and send to one of your customer the password of that account. They will copy everything like you did and once they finished, you change the password and send the new password to another customer and so on.
I don't know if you got what I wanted to say but this is better because those who are new to profile customization will be able to do it better by copy-pasting and two, since it's an alt-account, you won't get the trust or not problem.

I believe he's trustworthy I would do it I just haven't any ideas.
