How do I downsize a photo enough so it can be uploaded into my album?

Just edit it with Paint, PS, GIMP etc. you can even do that just online on sites like Photobucket and such.

Though I think your main problem is that you are having to many pictures. You can always try to delete some other pictures to make room. If that doesn't help then you will have to resize your picture I guess.

If you do that the quality may be a little off,so do what Cali said,try deleting some of the existing ones.
