Ameno is better, and switching with "nearby items" isn't the only thing Ameno does.

With Ameno, Sasuke can shift the location of himself, others, and objects. And it doest not only works with things that are "nearby", as the 4th databook described Ameno as long-ranged space-time jutsu.
