Here you have Daz Bones blocking a blow from Mihawk, and then proceeding to be easily cut down. Same would happen to Crocodile. How does Crocodile counter the speed, strength and Haki difference?

Sand is just small grains of eroded stone, so Pica might be able to control sand. Regardless, Pica doesn't even need to use his DFcto beat Daz. You clearly dont know what density is, because diamond is the most dense mineral on the planet.

Sand is silicon dioxide in the form of quartz, composing of both rocks and minerals.

An assimilation of a bunch of buildings doesn't even compose up to a small diamond, it takes intense heat just for anyone to form such a substance, intense heat that pica can't even handle.
