It actually makes sense that Crocodile's body would grow tougher in Impel Down. By having the seastone cuffs on, his Logia intangibility would be gone. Seeing as Impel Down is rather perilous and tough to survive in, his body would then naturally get tougher because it no longer has the intangibility to protect itself. Sure, he may not get faster or physically stronger or better in terms of combat, but his durability going up makes a lot of sense. Simple adaptation to the environment to ensure survival.

Croc wasn't blocking a slash coming at him, he was blocking a slash aimed at Luffy. So, he struck the blunt side of Mihawk's sword on purpose to deflect the blow. Even if it was coming at Crocodile, striking the blunt side was his best option to deflect the blow.

That must be pretty embarrassing for Mihawk. The WSS forgot to use the sharp side of his blade when preparing to slash Liffy.

Taking out Jozu? He was saved from doflamingo or he would be crushed to death by jozus blow's if anything a 1 vs 1 fight between these fighters would end in Jozu negging croc, are u really comparing Jozu with Crocodile?

What made you lead up to that assumption if Jozu had to resort to a sneak attack?

It still couldn't put crocodile down with that amount of Haki and diamond strength.

Please read the location as well.

Pica defeats Daz Bones.

Crocodile has better durability feats than Pica for sure, taking Jozu's hit with no Haki clad, while Zoro easily carved through Pica's Haki. However, Crocodile and Daz Bones both get stomped by Doflamingo. Pica easily buries them.

You're going down the right road(aside from the Doffy part)

Haki aside, do you see stones doing any damage to Mr. 1?

Pica's fruit can't do anything to Daz's fruit, neither can he coat Haki on it as well.

Pretty certain Oda would have emphasized it if it was the case. Fact remain however that situations like this happened before

Doesn't mean however Zoro was as strong as Aokiji or that Luffy was strong enough to kick this kuzan away. No he was putting himself on a level far below than what he is usally fighting at

Crocodile's real level has been shown in Alabasta and we've seen that pre-gear Luffy was enough to defeat him. Hell even in that same war when he tried to attack Whitebeard, Luffy sent him away like a bug, implying that nothing changed really

What is wrong with you? How many times do I have to say that Crocodile purposefully struck the blunt side of his sword? As in, Crocodile aimed at it.

I see no reason why he would. He avoided a lot of explanations and expositions in MF to keep the pacing going. Shit, Crocodile losing to Luffy's fist but then being able to take diamond+Haki straight to the face with minor injuries could very well be Oda's way of emphasizing that.

Okay? That's because Kuzan has a lazy personality and wasn't intending on defeating the Strawhats anyway. Jozu, on the other hand, possessed no such traits against Crocodile. Mihawk possessed no such traits towards Crocodile and Luffy. Was he going all out? No, but he had no reason to put himself that far down.

No, Doffy stomps them both with heavy ease.

Yeah, I do. With the sheer size of Pica's fist, the force and pressure would easily break Daz's steel body and kill him.

Or it could mean he was going easy. It's not like you can't control your level of haki, can't you?

Come on now. You're embarassing yourself here. Mihawk was using low level slashes even M1 could block, no haki(Buggy survived a cut with no damage). It was rather clear Mihawk was just toying around. You mean a guy who isolate himself in a dark castle, rarely goes to summits between Shichibukais and marines, followed a group of rookie pirates in the entire grandline on a boat and started to destroy their ships one by one just because he was bored, put himself on Zoro's level to fight him doesn't have a lazy personality? Really? Even accepting the ridiculous idea that Crocodile was the one who blocked Mihawk(when we clearly see his hook going backwards when Mihawk's sword is on a standstil and not the way around), talking about it as a real feat is a straw man grasping

Even you should know that size means nothing.

No matter how many stones pica uses, Daz can cut it.

If a fodder kings punch can take out pica's whole arm, imagine what Daz can do.

Who said he can't? I'm focusing more on the fact that Crocodile took diamond, which is already the hardest material in the OP world along with Seastone, that was further enhanced with Haki directly to his face with enough force to send him flying and only suffered minor injuries; that is impressive.

I was never using it as a feat though? All I did was assert that Crocodile was the one that blocked Mihawk, and not the other way around. I didn't say that mattered to Crocodile's strength. And it's not a ridiculous idea, it's what happened. The animated scene, which serves as clarity on it being that is a canon scene with no significant alterations, shows Crocodile blocking Mihawk by deflecting his sword. You can choose to tell yourself all you want that Mihawk blocked Crocodile, won't change that that's not what happened.

He didn't even put himself on Zoro's level, btw, he was toying with him. If he was putting himself on Zoro's level, the fight would have been more than a few seconds of Mihawk blocking his swords with a knife and then stabbing him. He was holding back, but was still worlds ahead of Zoro.

Yes Crocodile. Doflamingo can easily blitz him and lop off his head. Crocodile is no faster than pre-Gears Alabasta Luffy, and Doflamingo has outpaced Post-Skip Gear 2 Luffy. The same kick that almost killed Kyros would finish Crocodile up without Doffy breaking a sweat.

Daz can't cut Pica's golem. He would barely scratch it.

If he blocked Mihawk, then that means that Mihawk was using the blunt side to attack Luffy based on their positioning.

Yeah, no, you're just incapable of reading comprehension.
Oh, the irony. I keep telling you that Mihawk saw Crocodile coming and used the blunt side to block him. All you keep on saying Croc hit the blunt side to block it, which doesn't explain why Mihawk was having the blunt side facing Croc and Luffy.

He didn't have the blunt side facing them, Crocodile deflected the strike by hitting the blunt side, causing the sword to take the position it did.

Why would Mihawk be surprised if he was the one that blocked Crocodile? You're really telling me that Mihawk saw Crocodile coming, consciously decided to block his blow, and was then surprised that he blocked the blow? You're either telling me Mihawk has the worst short-term memory in the OP verse or he didn't think he was capable of blocking Crocodile.

You do realize you're supposed to read the manga right to left, right? In the bottom right panel, he noticed Croc coming, hence the exclamation marks, and then blocked him in the next panel.

Yes, yes I am because last time I checked, Pica is an assimilation of multiple buildings.

No matter how many clusters of building pica stake together, a buildings a building.

Here you have Daz Bones blocking a blow from Mihawk, and then proceeding to be easily cut down. Same would happen to Crocodile. How does Crocodile counter the speed, strength and Haki difference?

That's not how it works. Pica is an assimilation of thousands of tons of earth. The density, force, volume and weight of the golem is on a far greater level than Daz Bones has the ability to cut. A single punch would shatter Daz's steel body.

Nope, if Daz takes the King's Punch, he's dead.

So Mihawk was surprised that he was about to cut Luffy? I don't think those exclamation marks in the middle panel mean that he was surprised.
