Mirajane is a slim young woman of below average height. She has long, white hair which curls slightly at the ends, with two bangs framing her face and reaching down to her chest; her hairstyle's most distinctive trait is a short, upward ponytail obtained by gathering and tying the hair covering her forehead. Due to her always adopting such fashion, her hair seems to have adapted to it, with the hair on her forehead remaining pointed upwards even when not tied.
Mirajane’s most commonly seen attire is a sleeveless, ankle-length maroon dress with a pleated skirt. The chest is adorned by a large, pink bow, and similarly colored trimmings frame the rather ample neckline, acting as straps, and circle around the waist. Mirajane also wears high-heeled shoes that match her dress, and accessorizes with a small chain necklace with a blue oval gem attached to it, and a bracelet made of white flowers circling her right wrist.

In her younger years, Mirajane was known as "The Demon" , and before Lisanna's pseudo-death, she used to be a very feared person, infamous amongst guilds and criminals alike. Everyone use to fear her because she was a hot head. She use to love fighting everytime and would always get into fights with Erza to prove that she is stronger than her.
Now, Mirajane is a loving and caring person who treats her friends, and even strangers, with kindness. Mirajane plays a motherly role within the village, and is often seen running the bar at the village hall. She has rarely been shown to be in a bad mood, and can tolerate all of the village's eccentricities. Even though she's like this, she still takes her job as a shinobi very seriously. She's a very loyal and hardworking woman that puts her village first.

Background Info
History:
Mirajane was born during in Konoha during an attack by rouge ninjas. The Nara clan fought of the rouge ninjas but soon after being brought into this world, her mother was killed. She was taken by his father and hid with her grandparents in a safe house. Mirajanes father went out to help the other Naras fight of the rouge ninjas. Her father passed away during battle. She was left in care of her grandparents and she would live her life without parents.
As Mirajane grew older, her grandparents taught her how to use shadow. Mirajane showed great skills with it and his grandparents was very proud of her believeing one day, she will be the head of the clan. Mirajane continued training and working on her skills with the hidden ability. Mirajane and her grandparents went on a trip to see a grand festival. On their way back, they were attacked by a group of men. Mirajanes grandparents was murdured, but before the death of her grandfather, he cleared a path for her to escape. She escaped and returned to the village. She told the superiors about what happened but they couldn't do anything about it. Mirajane was angered by the fact that she couldn't do anything to protect her grandparents. She made it his goal to bring peace to the world no matter what. She will work hard and use her parents and grandparents Will of fire to persue her dreams.
Mirajane took herself of the map for sometime. She needed to leave the ninja world/life for sometime because she had to straighten out somethings in his life. Now that she is back, she will begin training again and strive for being the greatest. While she left the ninja game, she began reading a lot and writing books and searching for the real her. Mirajane is now a new woman with new goals in life with a great plan on how to accomplish them. She wants to achieve greatness and will do anything to make sure that happens as long as it doesn't affect anyone in a bad way. Mirajane has now found peace in his life and with this peace, she is able to focus on what's important.
