Basic Information Name: Atem Nickname: Pharaoh Gender: Male Age: 18 Clan:Magnetism | Appearance Atem is a young-looking male with highly exaggerated spiked up hair and a relatively thin yet lean figure with a deep light golden tan. His usual attire consists of traditional Egyptian wardrobe akin to that of a Pharaoh or high noble figure. The most notable trait Atem has is his hair. His extremely extravagant hair features multiple layers including long blond crooked, pointy locks for his fringe; the rest features a set of five large spikes and two smaller spikes colored black with a magenta sheen along the edges. Additionally, there is a strike of blond hair that is point upwards in front of the central spike of hair. His eyes are narrow with an intense, determined gaze. His other facial figures are quite defined, having a relatively pointed chin and strong jawline. His eyes are deep purple, darker than the shade of magenta his hair has. Atem's wardrobe consists of several golden accessories upon a traditional Egyptian robe attire. These include a golden collar wrapped around his neck, two golden armbands worn beneath his shoulders, two stylized golden wristbands (unlike the simple band design of the other accessories), and two golden bands that go along each of his shins. Additionally, he has a golden band worn as a belt upon his waist over his robe. His robe is solely beige colored, with a large blue cloth that begins below the belt. This pointed-end blue cloth extends down to the bottom of the beige robe. He wears a crown, with the eye of Wdjat (a common theme depicted in Egyptian culture) covering his forehead, in a similar manner to how Village Forehead Protectors are placed. The crown has two golden "wings" that go in front of the two spikes of hair that are adjacent to the central spike. Atem also wears a large purple cape that goes down to his ankles. The cape is placed around the neck, covering his upper pectorals from being seen. Below this cape, a special item handed down from his father, the Millennium Puzzle, is worn. It is held by a single line of wool that is worn like a necklace. The actual item is a golden upside down pyramid, which shows the same Eye of Wdjat appearance as the one on his crown, though with a few additional traits. True to it's name, the Millennium Puzzle shows several jagged lines, indicating how the piece was actually formed like a puzzle. Personality Next in-line to become Pharaoh, Atem was raised for perfection from birth. He was a scholar, studying in many fields. Which only grew under the tutelage of Lancer covering topics from the use of chakra to philosophy. This was a joy for him, as he loved to research and amass new knowledge on any field, especially ninjutsu and techniques and discoveries associated with it. However, Atem was not raised to be only a scholar, An equal amount of time was spent being crafted into the ultimate warrior, studying battle strategies and honing his skill with different weaponry. Both were made easy by his high intellect and his love for knowledge, as well as the joy he found in battle. His upbringing had caused him to become a perfectionist, something he seemed to have in common with his sensei. That and his pride seems to be held above all with few exceptions. Atem is also extremely loyal by nature, and thus this loyalty is extended towards his Sensei Lancer the Village Hidden in the Mist and his friends residing in it. Now having been introduced to the real modern day Ninja World, Much has changes such his lack of understanding of the new terms and colloquial conversation and other present day phrases, which seem to annoy him more then anything else.That and Atem's Personality wile remaining the same, his goals have changed only wishing to learn and grow stronger for the time being. |

 Pharaoh Amongst Ninja Hidden deep within the Land of Wind, in an unknown desert area existed a small village known as Egypt. Secluded from the rest of the world Egyptians had no knowledge of chakra, causing them to rely and develop on simple hard-work and intellect. This however was changed when the leader of the village had a son, who he named Atem. Atem from birth showcased remarkable use of chakra, unlike anything the villagers had ever seen. This caused the villagers to see Atem as a divine being, believing him to be a god they gave him the title of Pharaoh. Praised, respected, and adored by his village Atem grew into a remarkable young man as he studied and developed his abilities and all the knowledge his village had to offer. With the passing of his father, Atem was made leader taking the throne. A natural born leader Atem ruled his village showing love and respect towards his villagers as they showed him, all was well. Though everything would change after a years passing. A masked man would sneak into the hidden village and meet with Atem. Telling him that he had been watching over him for quite a while and that he was very impressed with him, speaking of his untapped potential. He told Atem he would rid him of the ignorant world he was born into and show him the full extent of his abilities, and in return Atem would one day be a apart of his empire. Refusing the offer, Atem told the masked man to leave his village. However the masked man simply laughed explaining that it wasn't a choice, as he subdued Atem and preformed a technique corrupting his mind causing Atem to pass out as he lost memory of his past. Remembering only what he wanted him too. Upon waking up Atem had no memory of his past nor his identity as we down to the village with the masked man. Seeing all the village slaughtered, Atem was shocked questioning the masked man "who are you, what happened here, I don't remember anything. "To which he replied I am Kakuzu, this village was attacked, it seems you lost your memory in the process.". At a loss for words Atem was speechless. " You have no memory, family or friends, nor village, come with me and I will supply you with what you can not recall having". With nothing and no one Atem was forced to accept. "Where will we go" he asked. Kakuzu quickly replied with a threatening but calm voice " My patience is receding, you will know all in due time. Now pharaoh we must leave". Stripped of his memories Atem believed Pharaoh to be his name and while suspicious of Kakuzu agreed to depart with him. Travelling to the Land of water Kakuzu brought Atem to the Village Hidden in the Mist."You will stay here until I have further use for you, in the meantime you will learn under my student, Lancer. Kakuzu then brought Atem to Lancer and left. Upon their first meeting, Atem had already taken a liking to Lancer. He was different from Kakuzu, in a good way. " I want you to forget everything you knew before me, by what I hear from Kakuzu that wont be a problem" lancer laughed. "I hear that you have a lot of potential and trust me when I say I believe in Kakuzu judgment". "Though potential is worthless if not nurtured, and thus I extend my hand to you. I will take you as my apprentice and teach you what I have learned, however as my student I expect your utmost loyalty to me and my village, understood". Atem suddenly had someone, he was no longer alone, as he accepted Lancers offer. Atem, Pharaoh of Egypt was lost now known referred to solely as Pharaoh, with only Kakauzu and Lancer knowing the truth. A Home and Family Atem was quick to adapt to the new scenery of Kirigakure and the modern ninja world. As he researched and learned the true nature of chakra and developed his own skill and use of it under Lancer. Though his training was not limited to mere ninjutsu, it encompassed life itself as Lancer would impart his wisdom of philosophy among other things. Aside from his relation with Lancer, Atem had made friends with several villagers Alice, Joel, Talos, and Hana until they seemed to become that of a family all united under lancer. Alice was friendly and amusing , she would help with his training in illusions. Joel and Atem were close, they liked to spar each other for practice. Talos was a random guy but a helpful one, sharing his experience in crafting weapons and other things. Then there was Hana, the relationship between Hana and Atem was quite comedic with Hana constantly making fun of Atem and expressing indifference towards him though in reality both liked and respected one another, in fact Hana second to Lancer was the most helpful to Atem when he first joined Kiri. Atem now had a home and family to call his own. The Staff Wielding Demon, Mystogan! Next Update Dork Sensei u-u Other Lightning - Together with Lancer Atem learned that he had a natural affinity for lightning, and quickly learned it's use until mastering it to the point of being able to use all Lightning Jutsu with a single hand-seal.However Atem's affinity towars Lightning seems to extend to even that of his personality, along with having a natural love for the element itself.
