religion may affect one's action but it's not the main reason why people did so... they chose to do those things because they wanted to..


it's like saying that your teacher teaches you to eat your shit and you does it because they tell you to...

Be real. It's people themselves who decided to do all that. Also I advice you that start learning your history a bit. There have been done a lot of horrible deeds in the name of religion, however likewise there have been done a lot of great deeds in the name of religion too. On top of that some of the most cruel people in history were anti-religious.

It's your opinion to not like religion, however that's still different from actually saying it's the truth. You claim all those things were don't as a result of religion, however the same things were done by non-religious people, aka atheists. So what now? Even though that's a hardcore fact if you still claim that religion would be like that, atheism -as I recall you are an atheist- would be exactly as your definition of religion. So you have been looking down on yourself.

It are the people who decided to do such things, in the name of a god or not, not the religion like the Islam or Christianity.
