I am talking about a character who played his role perfectly
Whatever role he got important for the series or not important important doesn't matters

MY PERSONAL TOP 5 ARE

1)Itachi...no reason require
2)Minato...he fulfill his duty as a character
3)Shikamaru...he knew his role as a strategist he know he is not a warrior or something
4)Jiraya...he also know what his role his eventhough he got rejected by tsunade several of times
5)Gaara...after fight with naruto he was flawless

In my opinion, a perfect character is one that follows his own way without the interference of someone else. They think for themselves and aren't swayed by other peoples beliefs. Even if the MC thinks a certain way, that doesn't mean everyone has to agree with it. Naruto tried to do this to a lot of characters, and he DID do this to a lot of characters, but there were a few that stuck to what they thought was right and still ended perfectly.

Those characters such as Itachi, Jiraiya, Gai and Kakashi are who I'm talking about.

Although Sasuke was doing really good with his "I'll take on everything in the darkness" Kishi still ended him in a way that I found predictable, and that Revolution bullcrap was just a waste of time.

Nagato and Gaara were great before they started fanboying Naruto and his beliefs.

Yeah I guess lol. See I like Naruto because of what he stands up for. His guts to never quit. Their should be only one of those kinds of people. Gaara had an intense motivation as a child but what did he do after meeting Naruto, he changed it and blindly accepted his orders.

It's cool if you like Gaara but I am personally not into the copycat characters or the characters who subdue to Naruto's will easily.

Can you blame Gaara for supporting Naruto? Dude saved him from his demons. Apply that to yourself, and you'd be greatful af to your liberator. Gaara's Character in the War Arc only peaked higher.

Leadership skills showed.
Powerwise, he skyrocketed.
Emotionally he developed.

He improved so much in the War Arc.
