Hiruzen is in his mid-sixties, yet is already experiencing the effects of old age, which the ANBU suggests is common.

Yet, in Part two we are introduced to Onoki, probably the strongest Kage alive, who is in his late eighties.
Surely he should have worse chakra than Hiruzen? Yet how is he able to even fight?

Finally someone who thinks with some logic, but don't underestimate asuma, 1 of the 12 legendary guardians. Good chakra control and multiple elements, winds release makes fire stronger and since he's a sarutobi he has a blessed lineage
But i do think he would be a problem to even the strongest ninja's, certainly in part 1
Part 2 everyone got a major boost in power and abilities so i doubt that he is s-rank if you compare him with the akatsuki

Hiruzen was 69. Onoki now is 75- 77.
Chiyo was also more than 70 but she was able to fight without problems.

The 2nd scan you posted is fail, because Tsunade gives him chakra XD
