People fluent in Japanese..

Do they think "Dattebayo" is annoying? I've seen where the translator refused to include "Dattebayo" in the translation of the manga. Then I see discussions where people mostly praise "Dattebayo".

Most of us hate "Believe it!" with a passion. So is it the same for people fluent in Japanese?

It's just something Naruto likes to add to his sentences. It has no real meaning (meaning it doesn't add something to his sentences) but it's like some people adding a lot of 'like' in their conversations (e.g. You know, like, when I was sixteen ...) or "euhm"
It's just a little quirk of him, I suppose *shrugs*
Some Japanese speakers will be annoyed by it, but I don't think most care about it. It's not like he adds it to every sentence he says. Or when he wants to put emphasis on what he said before I think.
I'm learning Japanese now and I'm not bothered by it. Some people will be and others not.

Pretty sure it's not a real word, just something silly he says. They also had his mom say dattebane which made me further believe that. The ne at the end is kind of like the opposite of yo. Ne at the end of a phrase kind of means "isn't it?" While yo is like a statement.

I don't speak Japanese, but it makes my skin crawl every time he says that.

Also whenever they speak "English", it just...it feels like my soul throws up when they do that, hearing Naruto saying "GOOD MOOORNING" or "HAPPY HAPPY" is just...Blah!
