I see you couldn't reply to everything else, so how would Itachi die or be injured by a kid that Kisame was soloing when Kisame stated to not be in the same league as "him". Clearly they were talking about Jiraiya since as I said before, why would Kisame talk about Naruto as if he couldn't fight him then 1 slash took all of Naruto's chakra and he was about to cut off Naruto's legs.

So the MS power, which Itachi had full knowledge of, can control Kurama. It's also pretty widely known that the Uchihas can control Kurama because of Madara taming it like a pet. Even the Kages from other nations knew of this and is why they mentioned Madara as being one of the people who truly controlled Bijuus

.Do you really think they were talking about Kurama when they both have info about the Sharingan having the power to control? They even separated Naruto from Jiraiya for a reason; Naruto was nothing for either of them and Naruto didn't even know how to access Kurama's power for the chakra cloak so Kurama pose no threat at all since Naruto would have been knocked out with his legs cut off. At that time, Naruto would have to get angry or about to die.

Yeah that talk took place 3 chapters before Kisame and Itachi even met Jiraiya. Some people randomly take manga pages out of context to "prove" their crap.

What kind of a logic is that? When did Itachi talk with Kisame about Rikudo?
Use your common sense if you have any. When Itachi was saying that both he and Kisame would have died, they were not talking about Jiraiya as they didn't even meet him. Kisame thought they were after the Kyubi- and that's why they went to Konoha. Kisame was talking
about the Kyubi. He mentioned Jiraiya only later. Just because two statements are in the same manga page, it doesn't mean they are related. However Kisame also said that Uchiha and the 7 Swordsmen pale compared to Jiraiya, Itachi said that even the strongest ones have weaknesses. Itachi never said Jiraiya is stronger.

Tell me how Jiraiya could have defeated Itachi and Kisame, without having intel on their full abilities? With as much effort as using Amaterasu to escape, Itachi could have used it on Jiraiya. Do you think that Itachi- who one shot Orochimaru, would be afraid of another sannin?

Genin or not, Naruto at that point had just defeated Sabaku no Gaara and Shukaku, who was actually the strongest Suna shinobi and had been unbeaten or even hurt up to that point. Furthermore, Kisame was relying on Itachi's intel about the kyubi jinchuuriki since Itachi was the one from Konoha, and Itachi was feeding him garbage because we all know why, he's a loyal Konoha shinobi. Also, when refering to Jiraiya, notice that Kisame and Itachi compare the TITLES between them and Jiraiya, that the title of SANNIN eclipses that of UCHIHA and SEVEN NINJA SWORDSMEN, in other words, it could have been Tsunade or Orochimaru in Jiraiya's place and the conversation would have been exactly the same. This scene in NO WAY whatsoever proves that Jiraiya>Itachi Kisame or even individually in battle. Only the most die hard Jiraiya fanboys would think other wise, ESPECIALLY after Tobi told us the truth about Itachi.
