Dispersing a small amount of chakra into the ground in his immediate vicinity, Ithnan analyzes the properties of several stones and has his body mimic their essential composition. Now an humanoid mass of stone, he then directs more chakra throughout his body and by applying nature transformation, shoots several small rocks away from his body towards the intended target.
(Doton: Dōka Iwa fubuki) - Earth Release: Assimilated Rock Blizzard
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After performing the Assimilate All Creation Technique to fuse with an object, the user controls the rocks that make up their "body" and shoot the rocks at the target.
Note: Must use Assimilate all creation technique beforehand.
We will skip the next jutsu as it is a combination that comes up with a later jutsu, so we'll come back to it then.
For now, this next technique is one similar to that of ''(Doton: Ganban Kyu) - Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin'' Begin by performing the Snake hand sign whilst channelling your Doton chakra into the ground, by disrupting the structure of the Earth, forcefully cause 2 Earth walls to erupt out of the ground next to your opponent. The walls face each other, with a small gap in between them which is where your opponent is stuck, the walls are roughly 2 times longer than the height of your opponent, and will embed enough pressure to keep him stuck at his place, hindering him from any movements above the surface of the ground, with more chakra added to it you can also make the Earthen walls move in on each other, with the pressure being able to break the bones of your opponent easily.
One weakness is that it only covers the surface of the ground, and depending on the way you use this technique, could also conceal the vision of your opponent, allowing him to use underground transportation for a way to deal with this technique.
Kneading a small amount of chakra, Ithnan then performs the Snake hand-seal and disperses it into the ground surrounding his intended target. As the chakra reaches the desired range, it then disrupts the ground as it condenses into two large areas that cause two tall walls of earth to swiftly emerge and crush whatever stands between them.
(Doton: Dāchiganshō) - Earth Release: Ground Bedrock
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After forming the necessary seal Snake, the user creates two walls of earth and traps their target in between them, crushing them.
Moving on, what I want you to do know is channel your Doton chakra throughout your body and outwards, onto the surface of the Earth you're standing on. In doing this your chakra to infuse with tiny dust particles on the ground or small grains of sand, and remain adamant there until you wave your arm looking cool and all as you do so, the infused particles from the ground will all gather up together and blast outwards towards your opponent. On their own the particles themselves don't carry any actual power and won't cause physical damage onto the opponent; however they will form a dust screen that will envelop the battlefield for three turns, minimizing the view of you that your opponent has.
Kneading a small amount of chakra throughout his body, Ithnan then disperses it all out into the ground in his immediate vicinity. With an almost casual wave of his left arm, the chakra causes a small wall of dust particles and sand to rise up from the ground and thrust forwards. A dust screen is created, which limits visibility substantially for some time to come.
(Doton: Hokoriheki no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Dust Wall Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the ground and with a wave of their arm or through the application of a weapon can cause a small wall of dust particles and sand to rise up from the ground and thrusting forwards. This technique creates a simple dust screen that will fade away after 3 turns.
This next one is quite simple, it doesn't require any hand signs. Simply begin by channelling your Doton chakra into the ground beneath you, and forcefully cause a single rock to erupt out of the ground, of quite an enormous size. The rock will be infused with your chakra and thus you can manipulate it so that one end comes crashing straight down onto your opponent, kinda like a hammer, which will invariably crush your opponent upon impact.
Whilst yes it does have quite a good effect, the range for the technique is only short so it'll only work in CQC situations, hence this disadvantage limits the technique.
Swiftly kneading a small amount if chakra throughout his body, Ithnan then disperses it into the ground. As the chakra makes contact with the ground, it takes on near-circular pattern and severs everything within its influence, before causing it to rise up from its initial location and come crashing down upon the enemy, several meters away.
( Doton: Rokkuhanmā ) - Earth Release: Rock Hammer
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user manipulates their chakra and creates a huge rock from the ground that will rise up, hammering the opponent by slamming it down from above them.
This next technique is your average boulder-manipulating Earth projectile. Concentrate on your Earth chakra, whilst pointing your index finger from your more dominant hand forwards towards your opponent, channelling the chakra towards the tip of said index finger. Once the chakra has accumulated at the specific point, use shape manipulation to form it into that of a semi-large boulder that will be blasted off towards your opponent, and upon impact has the capability of crushing with quite ease.
Other than with the use of an index finger you can also channel chakra towards your gullet and infuse it with your saliva, forming a mud-like substance that can be expelled from your mouth. As the globule of mud is expelled from your mouth it will harden on its path towards your opponent, though the resultant effect being the same for both methods, you choose which one you like more.
Kneading a small amount of chakra in his lungs, Ithnan then expels it swiftly from his mouth whilst applying nature transformation. as the chakra leaves via his mouth, it immediately assumes the form of a large globule of mud before just as quickly hardening into a large rock.
Well done, we're nearly there at the end of the C-ranks ;__;
( Doton: Iwa Dangan ) - Earth Release: Rock Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user manipulating their chakra will point their palm or fist at the opponent, creating a large rock on it which he then sends at the opponent. Alternatively, the user can "spit" the rock. In this case he will spit a large globule of mud which hardens mid way towards the opponent into a large rock.
For this next technique, concentrate on your Doton chakra like always and channel it into the ground beneath your opponent, from there by altering with the structure of the Earth force two pillars to be erupted out of the ground, the positioning is limited to your imagination, they can be either from the sides, from the back or the front etc. It's basically up to you. However, by using shape manipulation cause the tip of each pillar to be blunt rather than sharp, so they don't necessarily pierce your opponent as you have been previously taught but rather, exert enough force so upon impact with the opponent, results in them being sent flying backwards.
Kneading a small amount of chakra throughout his body, Ithnan then disperses it all into the ground surrounding the desired target. As the chakra reaches its destination, it swiftly forces to large, though dull stones up on either side of the opponent just as Ithnan claps his hands together, which forces the opponent to fly backwards upon impact.
( Doton: Jōshō Iwa ) - Earth Release: Rising Rocks
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user claps their hands together and then unleashes two huge rocks from the ground on either side of the enemy to send the opponent flying backwards.
Time for the last C-rank xD, which is loosely based on what you just performed pretty much following the same principle. Without the use of any hand signs, knead your Doton chakra whilst channelling it towards your more dominant leg, where after simply stomp said leg onto the ground, in the process of doing so also releasing the chakra stored within your leg, by moving the chakra across the ground towards the patch of Earth beneath your opponent, cause it to force fragments of small rocks to protrude out of the ground in a consecutive order, the tip of each rock being flat out to inflict blunt damage onto your opponent; knocking him away into the distance.
The difference between this and the former is that this would be more in numbers, but less in size.
Kneading a small amount of chakra throughout his body, Ithnan then releases it through his feet into the ground, as he stomps it. With great speed, the dispersed chakra creates several small fractures that spread throughout the ground towards the intended target and then swiftly emerge in the form of small, protruding rock formations.
( Doton: Gizagiza no Iwajin ) - Earth Release: Jagged Rock Formation
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and stomps the ground. By doing so, he causes small fractures to rip through the ground, which will then force fragments of earth and rock to rise up from the ground like protruding rock formations to then deal blunt force damage to the opponent and can raise them up into the air.
So before we continue on with the B-ranks, I want you to go through the C-rank list and pick out one or two techniques that you particularly like, as well as one or two that you dislike, provide reasons why, can be anything I just want to see your opinions on them. xD
Earth Release: Dust Wall Technique -
I like the idea of being able to conceal my movements, and with chakra sensing I'm not too limited.
Earth Release: Fist Rock Technique -
I like that it can be used fluidly in tandem with taijutsu, and of course enhanced by other techniques.
Earth Release: Rock Hammer -
It is very obvious and quite limited in range. Several basic means of countering.
Earth Release: Rising Rocks -
This technique, though better than the one above, isn't meant to directly crush the opponent.
So starting from the B ranks, I've decided to add a template, makes techniques more personal and more understandable for you as well as more beneficial in the long run of training, plus soon enough it'll be more jutsus by post, I just need to get the hang of it. >_>

(Doton: Retsudo Tenshō) - Earth Release: Tearing Earth Turning Palm
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar → Ox → placing hand on the ground, the user causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them in a mayhem of jagged rocks. This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to a large area. This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave.

A simple but quite effective technique, begin by performing the required hand signs as shown above and then place your more dominant hand on the floor, in the process of doing so channelling chakra throughout said arm and then into the ground; by pin-pointing a section anywhere on the battlefield, you're able to cause the ground within its vicinity to spiral inwards on itself, the motion breaking apart the structure of the Earth and thus causing cracks and large spaces within boulders and fragments of rock, which if used correctly can cause your opponent to fall down upon, and then be crushed by the sheer weight, size and quantity of rocks present. Good technique to catch your opponent by surprise, though it's limited to the ground mostly and obviously has a larger effect is used in more rocky areas without a clean, flat surface.
Performing the technique: Kneading a fair amount of chakra throughout his body, Ithnan then flows it through his right arm until it reaches his right hand, at which point he deftly slams it on the ground in his immediate vicinity and releases the accrued chakra. As the chakra is dispersed into the ground, it travels several meters- to surround the distant opponent- and then disrupts the ground in such a way as to induce it to spiral inwards on itself, which causes several small fissures to form and swallow the opponent before brutally crushing them. How would you use the technique in battle: I might use Earth Release: World Shaking to first disturb the opponent's balance and then follow up with this technique, which would become quite hard to safely evade/counter. If they are not crushed, for some reason, then I may follow up with Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere or Wind Style: Pressure Damage. How to defend from the technique: One could use Wind Release: Wind Stream to safely propel themselves upwards and away from the chaotic earthen mass below them. Do you like anything about the technique? It boasts great range and is fairly hard to outright counter, so it's a great way to adjust the distance between you and your opponent, especially if you're being pressed. Questions about the technique: N/A
Great, yeah the technique is limited to ground only so any technique which enables you to enter airborne will be enough to validate the technique's usefulness.
( Doton: Dosekidake no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user of this technique condenses the soil and rock in the area to sprout out in the form of four large spikes which attack the target from four separate directions to make it harder to evade. However, it can be easilty avoided by escaping upwards.
You must be registered for see images
This technique is similar to the simple spikes you've learnt from the C-ranks, kneading your Doton chakra into the ground, you're able to condense the minerals, soil and rocks in your opponent's general area, to the point where they begin to form extremely sharp, and long spikes. What makes this technique independent is that the direction and magnitude of the spikes are not up to your imagination, it encompasses four large spikes which will be sent from all four sides surrounding your opponent, so one from the front, one from the back, and one from each side. The spears will pass each other by the centre, where your poor intended target will await his impending doom, getting impaled by the spikes and all. xD
Performing the technique: Kneading a fair amount of chakra throughout his body, Ithnan then disperses it into the ground surrounding his opponent and manipulates it in such a ways as to have it build up in four different spots. Each spot, placed in front, behind, and to the sides of the opponent then condense all the surrounding soil and rocks, which sprouts quickly in the form of earthen spikes. How would you use the technique in battle: I would only use this technique if the opponent was somehow incapacitated by one of my techniques, such as Earth Release: Mudshot or Water Release: Starch Syrup Capturing Field, or if the opponent was critically wounded and would have trouble safely evading. How to defend from the technique: Wind Release: Wind Stream, Earth Release: Earth Release Technique, Lighting Release: Plasma Ball Do you like anything about the technique? If I was in the mood for a particularly swift and harsh ending, I would use this technique. Questions about the technique: N/A
Haha yeah, I guess it counts as one of those dramatic ways of killing someone, xD
(Doton: Iwa Bunshin) - Earth Release: Rock Clone Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates their clone out of stone that he spits from his mouth. Unlike other types of clones the rock clones don’t disappear after being defeated but rather crumble like rubble. These clones can also be used to create a clone of other people than themselves but do not take on the abilities of the copied person. They can use up to C-Rank Earth techniques and are very resistant to physical damage such as that from Taijutsu which they can endure up to B-Rank.
You must be registered for see images
Quite an essential technique, it follows the same basis to that of a normal clone, however it is made out of Doton. Kneading your Doton chakra, cover it inside to every inch of your body, and then channel it dominantly towards your gullet, where with a simple spit, the chakra will envelop itself into rocks and form either into a replicate of yourself, or of someone else. However, in the latter case the clone doesn't pick up any abilities from said person, such as a KG or HA. The clones, upon destruction don't actually poof away, but rather crumble down into rubble. They can use only Earth techniques up to C ranks, but are resilient due to the tough properties of Earth, being able to take on up to a single B-rank taijutsu attack.
