Sakon: Twins? It is rare to find another pair of twins like us eh, Ukon?

Ukon:Indeed, Sakon.

Ukon's head emerges from the left side of Sakon's neck so both brothers are facing you.

Ukon: We are a bit closer then most brothers though... Perhaps I'll stretch my legs for a bit

Ukon's body fully emerges from Sakon's left side, now the two brothers stand before you two, a Souma no Kou master and his student, but today was not the day for talk of their genetic technique, they were here to teach the power of the Earth itself!

Sakon:First, We'll need to see how well you've studied the art of Doton

Ukon:To know what we are working with mentally before we get into the practical use.

Sakon claps his hands and a small cave is formed around the four of us, barely any light from the cave mouth in the distance behind the teaching brother's and two flat stones are formed in front of their students.

Sakon:Take a seat and tell us everything you two know about Doton, ways to use it, strengths and weaknesses ninja who specialize in it etc.

Saki: Oi, oi, oi! I don't think either of us have ever seen other people with our kekkai genkai before.
Urasan: Brother, we must stay focused. Let's just let it go for now and begin our training.
Saki: Fine... From what I remember at the academy, Doton is surprisingly versatile.
Urasan: Yes. It can be used to make powerful barricades and, manipulate the density and elevation of objects and terrain.
Saki: Wait, there were also some jutsu that restrict the mobility of enemies and other jutsu that enhance physical prowess.
Saki: Oh, and there are some techniques for moving throughout the ground itself.
Urasan: As for strengths and weaknesses... Doton should be strong against Suiton and weak against Raiton.
Urasan: Earth can absorb water and make it muddy and lightning can easily pierce the ground and break it up.
Saki: From what some mist senpai told us, from war experience, Iwagakure shinobi typically have an affinity for earth.
Saki: Those with such an affinity are typically capable of using far less hand seals to perorm the same jutsu as their peers.
Urasan: Is there anything else, senpai?​

Sakon: You two have had some good teachers in the past

Ukon: Which will make our jobs much easier.

Sakon: Now our first step will be teaching you to tap into your earth chakra

Ukon: For that you'll need a good place to focus, Sakon.

Sakon: Right.

Sakon claps his hands together and then slams his palms to the ground causing the earth around us to change, creating a cave around us with a small entrance barely visible behind the teaching twins. Two flat circular areas raise in front of their students to create seats of solid rock covered in loose dirt.

Sakon: Take a seat, clear your minds

Ukon: Let yourselves become empty and then take in the natural essence of the earth

Sakon: Feel your chakra flow through you and allow it to change.

*At the behest of their senpai, the brothers proceed to take a seat upon one of the newly formed earthen seats*
*Afterwards, Saki's head appears beside that of Urasan's and both brothers make the snake seal*

*Clearing their minds of thoughts, the brothers enter a meditative state and focus on the stable and solid nature of earth*
*The meditative trance continues for some time, until it feels as if the brothers' chakra is congealing*​

Eventually Sakon speaks up and asks their students how they feel.

Saki: Kinda. It feels more alongs the lines of suddenly being far more durable; no different from a rock.
Urasan: Agreed. The sensation leaves me feeling as if nothing could topple me over.​

Sakon:Good, sounds like you were able to get a feeling for it so next step *takes out a piece of paper*

Ukon: This is chakra paper, remember the feeling you had while meditating, that is the feeling of molding earth chakra. Now harness that feeling again while holding this between your hands and try to control your chakra to flow down your arms and into your hands then through the paper, done correctly your chakra will cause the paper to crumble like dirt.

*Silence ensues as they place all of their focus on the paper in their hands and allow their chakra to flow through them*

*After ten seconds, both pieces of paper begin to crumble, much to the brothers' satisfaction*​

Ukon: Your first technique is

(Doton No Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique

Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

Ukon: remember the feeling you had earlier after meditation, take hold of that feeling and then try to control it to flow out of your body into the ground and take control of a small amount of earth with your chakra.

Sakon: Both of you, try making a simple tool made of stone from the ground.

Both: Okay, sensei!

*Urasan and Saki place their hands on the ground and flow their chakra into the immediate vicinity of their hands*
*As this occurs, they focus on maintaining their flowing chakra into the shape of simplistic bō, using nature transformation.
*As the bō rise from the ground, the brothers gracefully grab one in each hand and proceed to twirl them around*

Urasan: Wow, this is really amazing!
Saki: Yeah, who would've thought we could make things like these bō with the use of our chakra.

*The brothers take a moment to jot down some notes on the jutsu and hand their scrolls over to their senpai*​

Strong points:

• It allows for a plethora of tools and objects to be made; their versatility can be useful in many situations.
• It's possible to make pillars that disrupt an enemy's stance and thus negate any jutsu they're preparing.
• It can be used to make pillars directly below the caster, propelling them a good distance above many jutsu.

Weak points:

• The size of the objects are small, thus they're ineffective against any large-scale jutsu used by the enemy.
• Given that the jutsu is merely D-rank, the overall sturdiness of the objects produced isn't to be relied upon.

Combinations-strategies:

• I could use it to propel me up several feet and then use Fūton: Wind Stream to carry me over an enemy.
  From there, I can bombard them with elemental attacks whilst maintaining a steady, forward motion.
  Note: Either brother makes the pillar, Saki uses the wind jutsu and Urasan uses the elemental attack.
  
• I could also make shuriken and use Katon: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson.

Ways to counter this technique:

• Any projectiles made by the jutsu can be repelled with the simplest of wind jutsu.
• Any raiton technique can overcome whatever is created by the user(s), given this jutsu is merely D-rank.
• Other counters would depend on what, specifically, is being made by the caster.

Sakon: Very good, this simple technique is very versatile, their is another much like it but instead of drawing the earth staff from the ground you shape a chunk of earth in your hand


Ukon: Brother, they are bright ones from our clan They will easily perform that one as well so as soon as they are done let's teach them Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu

Sakon: Fine, after the reshaping of the stone into a pole *Sakon stomps and causes a large pile of rubble to be turned up from the earth* Dig your way under the rubble and get near a clone *makes two shadow clones* and grab him by the ankle and pull him under so only his head is sticking up.

Ukon: Allowing for easy execution.


Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique

Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

Saki: Let's get digging...

*The brothers proceed to split and knead chakra throughout their hands. Assuming a crouching stance, the brothers use nature transformation on the chakra channeled throughout their hands and begin to rapidly dig their way below the rocky surface. After a moment of positioning themselves, both Urasan and Saki rapidly emerge from below the clones whilst yanking them, down to their heads, into the ground that they had, themselves, just been buried/hidden in.*

Urasan: Now then... What to do with the two of you...
Saki: Let's see how far their heads can roll...​

• Given that the user(s) emerge from below the enemy, it can often take the them by surprise.

Weak points:

• The user(s) must conceal their actions, lest they give away their intention and general location.
• The user(s) must have an accurate idea of where to emerge, to effectively catch the enemy.
• It's possible that someone with enhanced senses (Dōjutsu) can see where the user(s) will appear.

Combinations-strategies:

• Immediately after using the jutsu, the user could follow up with Doton: (Super) Added Weight Rock.
• After the jutsu, one could follow up with Doton: Swamp of the Underworld to complete their entrapment.

Ways to counter this technique:

• Doton: Earth Flow River could be used below the user to entrap the soon to emerge enemy.
• Doton: Opening Earth Rising Excavation can be used to make the hiding enemy emerge at will.

*Both of the brothers quickly grab two decent-sized stones from the rubble surrounding them and proceed to stream their chakra directly into them. Whilst focusing on their chakra, the brothers also think of the bō they had previously made and allow the stones in their hands to change their shape accordingly. Taking a quick glance at their senpai, both brothers return their gaze towards the clones and smirk, immediately before striking the clones' heads with the bō.

Urasan: Well, I certainly enjoyed that.
Saki: You're so violent, brother.
Urasan: Don't even start with me, hypocrite.​

• It can be used either as a melee weapon or a projectile, providing some variety.
• Though less accurate, the user could make several staffs and cover a larger area.

Weak points:

• This technique is less versatile than Doton: Earth Release Technique
• When making more than one to be used as projectiles, the overall accuracy suffers.

Combinations-strategies:

• After making the bō, they can be infused with Katon chakra to increase their overall power.
• If used in the air, above a target, Doton: (Super) Added Weight Rock could be used for increased force.

Ways to counter this technique:

• More or less any Raiton technique should be capable of negating this jutsu.

Sakon: Good combination of your new techniques

Ukon: Now for one more basic technique

Sakon: You might have noticed that so far most Earth jutsu have one common weakness

Ukon: Other then Lightning. That is that it requires a source of Earth.

Sakon: This next jutsu does not share this weakness.

Ukon: focus your earth chakra into an arm and then release the chakra out of your arm and condense it into a ring of rocks made of your chakra that you can control to hover and throw them at an enemy.

( Doton: Iwa Rendan ) - Earth Release: Rock Barrage

*Both brothers focus their chakra primarily into their arms and as it builds up, they release it from the arms. Within a few seconds, the newly released chakra begins to congeal in the form of a dozen small stones. At the brothers' command, most of the stones begin to spin rapidly around them whilst two of the stones are shot at the earthen seats made by senpai*

Urasan: Wow, those stones really messed the chairs up.
Saki: I'm having trouble thinking of some weak points... Senpai?

• Just like you said, it doesn't require an earth source to be used.
• They can be manipulated by the user to suit various situations
• If spun in a ring close enough to the user, it could be a deterrent against taijutsu.

Weak points:

• The stones are not large enough to block moderately-sized techniques.

Combinations-strategies:

• The shuriken can be infused with nature transformation, greatly increasing the cutting power of one/both.
• One can place explosive tags on the underside of both; detonating them when an opponent tries to dodge.
• Someone using chakra/metal threads could redirect them to greatly increase their overall accuracy.

Ways to counter this technique:

• Any substantial barricade or low level raiton attack can stop the technique in its entirety.

Sakon:The low level of power, size or ability to hide the attack are all weak points, if they see you they can obviously see the stones being flung towards them and with such small rocks simple ninja tools would suffice to defeat them.

Ukon: Bedrock Coffin

(Doton: Ganban Kyu) - Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin

Description: After performing the Rat hand seal, the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent.

Sakon: Perform the Rat hand seal and send your earth chakra through the ground to the desired place to control sections of the ground to raise up and then slam the sections together forming a coffin of stone around the fool you dares oppose you!

Ukon: It will crush him, ending the fight for you, someone killed by this obviously isn't worth your time in the first place.

*Heeding the words of senpai, both of the brothers form the tiger hand-seal and channel their chakra into the ground surrounding the two incapacitated clones made earlier. With the desired area established, each of the brothers force two large sections of stone upwards; the rocks form directly in front of the clones and directly behind the clones, before converging on their still protruding heads. With a loud crash and two cries cut short, the brothers also observe two small trails of smoke rising from between the rocks that now faintly resemble two earthen coffins.*​

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

Sakon: Channel chakra into the ground and transform it from solid earth to sand allowing you to easily dig through it like a mole

Ukon: When used in battle you can move about the speed of running above ground.

Sakon: and through the earth chakra you can sense what is touching the ground above you letting you move without being blind.

Ukon: And then you can exit the ground and leave it looking normal so they won't know where you exited at.

Sakon: Don't forget you can dive deep down into the ground to escape ground techniques.

*Taking in everything senpai has just spoken of, the brothers focus their chakra into the ground immediately below where they stand and observe as the it quickly becomes softer and softer. Now much like sand, the brothers find it easy to dig their way through the ground and towards senpai. With the ability to sense where he stands above them, the brothers continue just a bit past senpai's location and proceed to arise from the ground; emerging just behind senpai.*​
