You don't get my point.

Tsukuyomi will not work on Rinnengan because it is an eye technique. I do not know how that works.

Gentle fist is a physical attack. No way captain obvious. I was giving an example. In other words, if you say genjutsu wont work on the Rinnengan because it is greater, then you are saying Gentle fist wont work on a Sharingan USER(In GENERAL) because the Sharingan is greater.

Well the Rinnengan does not giv you any special powers in the eye like Sharingan it just givs you the 5 nature types and yen and yang so Sharingan will work on it

Also the Rinnengan it self does not hav any abilitys to effect the other persons mind if it did the Two jutsu would hav canceled out ( like to vs a sharingan user if you are one on one run away two on two take the rear to atk him and one person wont get caught in the gen jutsu) but when Itachi vs Sasuke the where both caught in their own genjutsu world the where both caght in it the only differences is that Itachi used a stronger genjutsu which was tsukuyomi and came on top in the end so most defiantly it will affect Nagato through the 6 Pains.

WEll since Tsukiyomi is an Vision/ocular jutsu, And Pain share The SAME VISION, they all will be affected.

Im pretty sure it would effect nagato, Jiriaya said that nagato couldnt control his own body while in that genjutsu and he never hear, just those 3 bodies, and then he killed them and had the genjutsu ended, therefor the other 3 bodies could attack when he let his guard down, and i never heard of the rinnegan being able to see through genjutsu, so itachi would have it

Well thats wht i was trying to that Sharingan will affect the rinnengan but has any one thought that the sharingan might be an evolution of the rinnengan.One that might more improved with ETMS we stillhav not seen the extent of the ETMS powers only madaras space time Jutsu
