As we know, Pein had shared vision among his 6 bodies. Now my question is that, if Itachi was to cast tsukuyomi on one body, does that mean the remaining bodies would also come across Itachi's MS and be affected by Tsukuyomi?

I believe so. When Jiraiya used Genjutsu on the Animal Path, all three bodies were trapped in the Genjutsu.

jiraiya's genjutsu didnt catch all 3 by getting one..he stopped all 3 and the got caught by sound..so all of them heard it and got caught in it....if the genjutsu only activates at the sight at itachs MS ..y would everyone else get caught if they have no sharingan...and besides that he only was looking at the crow thro his sharingan so the couldnt have seen anything

I don't think Genjutsu that are based on Eye techniques work on him, because Itachi has Sharingan, and Pain has Rinnegan ... in that case ... Sharingan<Rinnegan ....

Jiraiya only caught him in a Genjutsu because the one that Jiraiya used is SOUND BASED instead of an Doujutsu, and it was so powerful that it managed to disable 3 pains, because all 3 of them could hear the Frogs singing...

Basically genjutsu dont depend on mind it depends on body there are many different genjutsu


sound genjutsu : which as soon u hear u will be get caught
example : Toad elders ,,tayuya

Genjutsu with eye contact : we all know sasuke ,,itachi's

so if pain has 6 body he cant be caught by sasuke or itachi ,,unless they are all caught but if its 1 pain he sure get caught buy any genjutsu

exactly. any rinnegan user can be affected by sharingan genjutsu. it won't grant you any immunity... it's "just" an another dojutsu with unique abilities.

i was always thinking about this shared vision, but as we know genjutsu disturb your chakra, so i don't think any eye based genjutsu will work on all of the bodies if you only use it on 1 body.

That is not what I meant. You said that genjutsu wouldn't work on a Rinnengan but where does it say that the Rinnengan is immune.

What I mean by the Byakugan and the Sharingan is that, Gentle fist would still work even if the enemy had a Sharingan let alone EMS. The Sharingan doesn't have some immunity to gentle fist. Hence, the Rinnengan does not have immunity to genjutsu.

The Rinnengan is an eye. So yes the Susano'o would win. Now if this was the case, why won't Tskuyomi win if it was pit against the 'Rinnengan'?

he doesn't need to put the other 6 under genjutsu because Nagato controlling them. if Nagato under a genjutsu the bodies won't move. that's all... don't know what you mean by stabbing Kakashi. he never stabbed Kakashi that's how Tsukuyomi works...

it's all depend on the skill of the user. Itachi put Sasuke under genjutsu a few times and he can't break out from it until he trained for it... same with rinnegan.

btw who the hell is C? write normal names to me not this A,B,C,D... bullshit.

Tsukuyomi will not work on Rinnengan because it is an eye technique. I do not know how that works.

Gentle fist is a physical attack. No way captain obvious. I was giving an example. In other words, if you say genjutsu wont work on the Rinnengan because it is greater, then you are saying Gentle fist wont work on a Sharingan USER(In GENERAL) because the Sharingan is greater.
