Where does it state that Nagato shares hearing? Also Genjutsu affects Pain.

If Pain uses Chibaku Tensei in that immediate area he will be affected as well. Lol So will Nagato cause you stated he'd be near by. So he'd kill himself. Itachi may be able to activate a Susano'o and try to at least survive the compaction. Doubt it but it's worth a try. So everyone dies if CT is used.

If you come with an ultimate ST then Susano'o could defend against that. Kisame will be mortally wounded but we know from past chapters that Samehada will fuse with him to repair any damages. All the path bodies will collapse, excluding Deva, but a quick Totsuka strike deals with him. While in Shark Mode Kisame is a quasi-sensor and will be able to track Nagato down, killing his weakened body. Done.

He hears through the peins since he controls them. Nagao hears and sees everything the peins.

And hahaha naaa pein will not get pulled up, the user controls where the gravity pulls, pein didnt gett pulled and neither did nagato when they used it so sorry but no lol
and the second scenario it may go that way, but the peins only collapse while the attack is being used so right when hes done the other peins return and also totsuka can be dodged lol.

Pain could win this with low diff. if he hides Naraka Path and constantly revives the other paths to fight Itachi and Kisame. And since Itachi and Kisame don't have knowledge on the paths they wouldn't think there would be a 6th and since the fight is taking place in Amegakure, Nagato could hide him in the least suspicious area. But if he doesn't follow this strategy then Pain wins high diff.

but itachi was well known with deadly genjutsu...and most of akatsuki already awera about hes skill in genjutsu...yeah even kakashi mentioned about itachi tsukoyomi cannot be beaten because of instantaneous...yes 1 sec = 72 hours,,,yet kakashi still trying to avoided from being caught in itachi tsukoyomi even kakashi already has MS so which meant manga always right about its facts(sharingan + blood of uchiha to break it out)...and even that ***** kabuto managed to avoided being caught with tsukoyomi due to hes SM (closing eyes if im right),,,

With this fight i have two question thast come to mind.

First being that sharingan see chakra systems and chakra by its color can't itachi tell that pain isn't his target and that nagato is and being that in this situation he close the chakra being transmitted would be strong so essences more noticeable? Obito and sasuke have both shown this ability

The second i've notice the sharingan can see inside of a person, could the sharingan see through anyone of the pains and attack nagato directly? Sasuke saw through naruto to the ninetails and supressed him; furthermore Obito looked in Kushina and put the ninetail under a genjutsu.

These two paths seem to be the most logical way Itachi would fight Nagato/pain. Not to mention in this fighthe has support
