And you're entitled to that terrible opinion. But gaming is more than that and honestly PC isn't worth it.
Let me ask you a single question... What does a Console have that a PC doesn't? Consoles are fun, Infact they're very entertaining but a PC still surpasses consoles in hardware and software, Consoles are bound and restricted to do it's job and play games and run a few other things whereas PC's hold the capability to leave you indulged in a whole lot of everything. Mods... yes, they're not exclusive to PC cause i modded tons of games on my Xbox, but doing so required 10x more the hardwork, But modding is a completely optional choice so it doesn't even count as a pro/con.

I don't hate Consoles, i hate people who over value them.

I still wonder what you mean by PC games are not that great? They're the exact same thing you'd buy on a console except with the addition of much better textures and performance(Depending on your rig) :)

Just the other day some kids hopped on Gamespot and started saying PC gamers are jealous cause the consoles got 1.5 year of GTA V yet the PC didn't.... that type of shit is what keeps me away from console fanboys. lol

i've had a fair share of play on Consoles just so you know. Since PS1.

But dude
lol thats one awesome rig, bud.

In the end it's always about the games.

If consoles were irrelevant compared to the PC Master Race Nintendo would have died a decade ago ;)

Not mine, wouldn't claim it. Just making a point that it's a non-argument to bring couches into the mix. I mean what has the couch ever done to the PS4 or PC community? Nothing but provide comfort to us all.

True, was just making myself clear in-case they bring that excuse back up. I kinda feel bad for the couch.

Yours is not bad at all compared to mine, dusty af but in the end, what matters is what's on the inside

More dust?

Yeah I should do something about that really soon.

I don't think anyone said there wasn't a market for consoles or that they were irrelevant eh maybe irrelevant to someone who doesn't use them but there's a market for them. It's just that you can't really say they're better when PCs can do everything they can do even better. There'll always be a market for consoles well I believe there will be because some people prefer consoles for their own reasons. Nostalgia, availability, being nearly idiot proof etc but when you bring specs, graphics, price, controllers, the ability to hook up to a tv, playing from the couch, the hardware, or the software involved into the argument it becomes invalid. The reason it becomes an invalid argument is because for the same price a PC can do the same or better and with OC'ing it can surpass even that. That's not even including rigs or setups that cost more and will last far longer then their console counterparts simply because the parts themselves can be replaced and upgraded over time.

Consoles are a one trick pony. You buy it, you can play the games, can get some online game play and can use some apps. I haven't messed with a console since the 360 so eh I can't exactly speak for the PS4 or Xbone, but I'm guessing it's the same thing. Games, online gameplay you have to pay for on-top of your internet bill and some apps. Whereas a PC can do all of that and more granted they're not as idiot proof or nostalgic or available (this actually is a shallow argument the parts are rather available and putting them together isn't that hard) as a console but can do all of the important stuff better rather easily.

Digressed somewhere along the lines and probably repeated stuff already said several times in this thread but eh.

If someone wants a console he/she can have it, nothing is gonna stop them anyway, besides, a console is great for any casual gamer who wants to slam his disk in and get started, now this is where mostly PC gets complicated, the thing is most popular pc titles lack proper optimisation (inb4 someone starts blaming the consoles, I know this already) a gamer who has no knowledge on how patches or driver updates work is gonna be frustrated at this, if you're a pc gamer, you already know how shitty most ports or the coding is on the games. (specifically newer titles)

I bought far cry 4, stuttering like shit (altough the 14.11.2 driver did benifit a bit, it still stutters like crap on AMD cards, I have the 1.05 version of the game)

AC unity, Don't you even dare buy this shitty game. You have AMD? Fantastic, it won't run, ohh wait, you have dula r9 290? Marvelous, its gonna run even more shit cause the game has no proper crossfire support.

Dragon age inquisition is glitched as shit
Older AC games are just shitty in ports
Tomb raider has random FPS hinges, due to terrible handling at threads.
COD AW black screens randomly on crossfire. And is prone to crashing randomly
Dead rising 3 is beyond crappy on PC, the coding is horrible, and the fact capcom locked it at 30 fps on PC is beyond hilarious (Yeah U can edit the config file to get 60 fp but come on jesus)
Metro Last night runs terrible without the update, constant FPS drops near doors, and annoying shadow flickering 90 percent the time
Watch dogs (LMFAO UBISOFT)
Assassins creed black flag, now ubisoft, like always, did promise it would be a flawless port, looks like they lied. Since the games barely uses over 2 cpu cores, same problem with AC3.

Oddly enough, the above titles are nvidia optimized. The only way to bypass shitty ports is to brute force through the unoptimized coding is with a very high end PC, even then the FPS drops would be noticeable. Take AC3 as an example.

Since I have an AMD card, the AMD optimized titles run flawlessly, take bioshock infinite, never dips below 60 fps on ultra and High AA. This is where it gets frustrating, firstly, if you buy a title, and it runs like a shit, you have to wait for either a driver update or a patch from the devolopers, now the devlopers would be at fault ofc, but at times it's annoying since you shelled out money to play a game, when it turns out to run like shit it's quite upsetting. If a person decides to game on a PC for the first time, he, well, ofc would be confused and astounded if wants to play these games and has no idea why the game is running like shit, although his requirements probably even exceed the optimal listing it requires.

But anyways.
