*Mifune waits silently; he observes the barren wasteland, stretching endlessly towards the horizon. The wind blows and kicks up dust clouds that can be seen moving along, from a distance, traveling carelessly and formlessly wherever they are guided.

The mid-day sky is clear and vibrantly blue, with only a few clouds in the sky, though the sun itself is obscured, casting its warming rays with its enlightening golden glow.

The weather is pleasant; the air holds a spring-time pleasantness, and the wind has a refreshing crispness.

Mifune closes his eyes, slightly meditating, as he enjoys the weather, waiting for the one who had come to learn much from him, and would soon learn more.*

Black Star approaches his destination, taking note of the pleasant weather, enjoying the gentle breeze that ruffled through his light blue hair. He closed his eyes, and took in a deep breath a bit enthusiastic about his training.

He opened his eyes soon after to realize that he had arrived in his training grounds, and set his eyes upon his teacher. The two were familiar with one another; such tends to happen after you've fought as much as they have.

Before speaking, Black Star reaches with his left hand and touches the scar on his right shoulder that cuts through his star tattoo.

It's been some time, Mifune.

"Black*Star...Indeed, it has. You've grown; you look the part of a proper Warrior now - I can see it in your eyes."

*Mifune smirked lightly.*

"It seems Miss Nakatsukasa finally managed to straighten you out..."

*Mifune takes a deep breath, collecting his thoughts.*

"...when I pass the knowledge of the Infinite One-Sword Style unto another Warrior, it is a ritual in it's own right, and one I intend to continue here. So, with that, we begin...

What is Kenjutsu to you? Why do you use a sword; what is the relationship between a sword and it's wielder? I expect these questions to be simple to answer for you, but nonetheless..."

*Mifune watches the young fighter, awaiting his answers.*

*Black Star chuckles*

"Well, I did make a pact with you, remember?"

*Focus is brought onto the scar on his shoulder. Afterwards, he listens to what Mifune asks of him, and prepares to reveal his answer. Clearing his throat, he began to speak, but more seriously this time.*

"Though many people have their own definition as to what Kenjutsu really is, a universal truth remains; Kenjutsu is the Art of the Sword. If you do not respect the sword, then you are not fit to wield one.

When I think of the relationship between my sword and myself, I imagine a relationship in which my blade is a part of me; An extension of my soul. Where others see the blade as a simple piece of metal, I view it as a work of art, one I treat with endless respect. My blade is as much a part of me, as Tsubaki, and even you, Mifune."

(We actually went over this in our Kenjutsu training a while back :p)
