umh lets see, i think we covered a bit of jiraiyas own techniques, the hair jutsus, toads to some extent. umh working on taijutsu in a fight so i think we are looking maybe at earth and fire element and ninjutsu?

So lets go with fire, i see you believe its just for offensive?

yea i only seen it being used like that and when i use it, i use it for straight forward attacks or use it to like cover for a more dangerous attack.

So much more to fire than that. I like the ash cannon jutsu, spew that out when someone is coming at you, they can't see you, leave and explosive tag and go underground to a better vantage point

i actually am in the possession of a few ash customs given to me, they are quite good, ash clone and an ash dragon O_O

Thats good, quite versitile. But fire can be used in more than one way. I've used it on water before to create a mist on the field so i can attack qith surprise

you can use ash techniques to make like something like the a dust storm to make it difficult for them to see, the ash could be hot and burn the opponent but it would do that to you too? and you could ignite it any time you wish.

normal fire can be used to make mist, umh... have almost a solid like form like some canon techniques so they can punch through solid techniques.

you cant use heat only since it is temperature release i presume, am i missing something O_O
