Absolute knowledge of oneself is a paradox. To know yourself completely is to have accepted all the sides of who you are. But to accept all of your sides, you need first to know that you have these sides in the first place. But some of these sides just lie too deeply inside of us to be accessible. Therefore, to know yourself completely means that you accept that there are parts of you that neither you nor anyone else will ever find out that exist. Thus, absolute knowledge of oneself is the knowledge of our personal ignorance of who we are.
