It seemed the boy before him was ready for a reasonable discussion yet Akira didn't feel it was right for him to remove the seal just yet. It could be a trap. A false sense of security. It was best to see how things progressed going forwards. He listened as the boy awoke clearly curious about his intentions.
"So many questions. What a curious one you are." He spoke with a light tone now. "Perhaps it best we go from the start. I seek though with power, will and drive to make change in this world. I seek those who are loyal. I seek those ready to show the gratitude. Those who are grateful are usually the most loyal. It's human nature. Why did I save you? I have need of you. Why did I place that seal on you? Should you refuse to be reasonable, it would be an insurance policy. As for this eye? Its the power to govern the six paths and bridge the gap between life and death. Though, these days that bridge is but a viel. Already pulled aside as demons walk among us. Chaos thrives. Terror stalks. Hatred spreads. Yet with all that... where do you find yourself?
Wei led still on the ground, the ground was dry and warm, his peered at the man who still sat upon the rock nearby.
"Curious? Perhaps.. Knowledge is the only real way to get ahead in the world. So it is natural to seek it."
Wei listened as the man spoke. He didn't take everything that was mentioned as face value but he would commit it to memory. He was well aware that believing in others had its downfalls and flaws. Only by thinking critically and relying on oneself could you be confident.
"Where do I find myself..."
Wei repeated the phrase which this man chose to end on.
"I chose to walk a path that only demons tread. I chose the path most difficult but most rewarding. I chose a path which would hone me more effectively and faster than others. I chose to become a demon to vanquish demons. Repay a drop of kindness with a fountain, Repay a drop of enmity with an ocean."
The more Wei spoke, the more his words resounded and echoed. Like he was reciting his 'Dao' Or as others would call 'Ninja way' A brutish term really.
His words were neither loud, nor were they quiet. They were spoken with a steady confidence and resolve. They showcased the clear indication of his stance within the world, his morals, and his intentions.
If the man before him couldn't realize from his words that Wei himself was not a threat if left alone or made an ally then there was no further convincing.
