This thread by no means accepts the preposition made in the title. Nor is it an ultimatum for all to follow. It is only a collection of my own thoughts, and reflections. I could well be wrong, or correct. You decide what you want to believe. In this thread, though i have an opinion , i want to think of this topic logically , so rather than repeating a belief or telling you what to think, i want to show you HOW i think.
We all feel pain.
However, what is the 'pain' we feel?
So , the scientific explanation - one no-one can deny- is that our impulses are taken from the sensory neurons to motor neurons , and these are electrical impulses. You have sympathetic nervous systems, para sympathetic, autonomic, etc
However, these impulses are HOW pain is transmitted.
What is PAIN itself.
I will get the same reply : electrical impulses , TRAVELING etc,, chemical reactions.
These all , fair to say, accurately describe how pain is transmitted, and created. However, this does not describe you, in your conscious 'feeling the agony'.
Could atoms...ever possess this ? Or is there something else, in us.
