dont forget about summons if he spams the summons its all over and chabku tensei or how ever you spell it im sorry i see no way MS sasuke could win this fight.. and im pretty sure pain knows about sasuke abilties since itachie worked with him. im sure sasuke can only use kirin once, and when he does that he is out of chakra sooo.. dont forget naraka path either. its just to much for him sorry.

But before he does arrows what if Deva does chibaku, doesnt it take time for Sasoonu to form to the state on where he can shoot arrows?

ok whoever told you that he can use kirin only once as long as he has chakra to shopt fire style jutsu in the air he can create kirin by using the thunderclouds. and summonings can be killed if sasuke used amaterasu on the summoning girl or by using arrows.

I think that kirin needs thundering in the place for it to work in the first place which is like 5% of the time in battles. Plus yea the animal paths wud just irritate him soo much, he has no chance to beat them they wud keep coming back, by the time the animal path runs out of chakra so wud Sasuke out of spamming amatarasu which is like the only way he can take care of some animals, plus by then Naraka wud bring Deva back! I agree with you 100% there is much more evidence then this, like what Madara thought and what Naruto said, etc. I wud say if they meet up unexpectedly the chances for Pain to win are 9/10 at least and with info its still like 7 or at least 6/10. Even if Deva dies in the start, all the animals plus Naraka etc is just tooo much!

there is a poll that also says that itachi beats pain but do u think that is true. polls are fans opinions it does not always reflect the truth.

minatoflash he can use kirin by shooting fire style jutsu in the air he does not need to be in area with thunder and if deva dies in the beginning then sasuke can either use kirin to kill the rest. his alternate option is one where he would use amaterasu or arrows to target the other paths and kill them and take preta out with his sword. BUT if sasuke has no info he would lose most likely

It was said by Madara that Pain was the strongest person in Akatsuki. Once he was defeated by Naruto he said it was a major loss to the organization but Sasuke could prove to be a stronger ninja then Pain. Whether that he has or not has yet to be seen from his new found powers but he almost always on par as far as strength goes with naruto throughout the series and Naruto managed to beat Pain, so there's no doubt in my mind that he couldn't beat Pain as well but it could go either way.

Pain- They call him the man who became god, Killed J man, Killed Kakashi and the whole squad that came to help out with only 2 paths and one was still alive, Has the rinnegan, was called the S06P reincarnation, Beat the 6 tails kyuubi (Until it went 8) Made Konah KNOW PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Sasuke- They call him the Avenger, Killed Danzo, Was about to kill Kakashi and Sakura afterwards too until Naruto came, Has the MS, beat killerbee, and wants to destroy Konah.

I just have to say a few things...
1)' They' did not call Sasuke an avenger--he called himself an avenger(pretty lame).
2) Sasuke did not beat Killerbee--bee let him think he won so bee could finally escape from his brother's ever-watchful eye. That was only AFTER bee completely owned Sasuke and his team. Bee was able to match the fourth hokage AND Raikage move for move. Sasuke never had a chance against him. Especially back then.
3) The fight with Danzo and Deidera(which you forgot to mention) were pretty amazing--I give him that. However, I sincerely doubt that even now Sasuke has the power and skill to destroy all of Konoha by himself against the entire village.
4) Someone mentioned that Sasuke has the same abilities as Itachi. While it is mostly true--he doesn't have the same level of skill. Itachi was a born genius. There has always been a disparity in their skill levels...even now Itachi continues to show just how smart and powerful he really is.
5) For anyone bringing up blaze release. All it is, is shape manipulation of amaterasu. Sake is exceptionally skilled in shape manipulation (notice his amaterasu spear at the end of the last chapter). It is not some brand new secret, ultra flame attack. It's just like when he shaped chidori into a sword.

That is my rant. Take it for what you will.

I would say if it was sasuke with the Mangekyo than Pain would definitely win because Amaterasu wouldn't work, Susano'o would only be able to last for a short ammount of time until sasuke over uses it, and I think Pain's rinnegan can counter Sasuke's Tsukyomi due to the fact that Pain's are stronger. But if Sasuke was up against Pain with Eternal Mangekyo than that might have to be an entirely different story. Right now my vote goes to Pain. I also think Pain would whoop Itachi's ass.

Not really. Nagato can protect all paths using Pretas absorption abilities.

I don't fink so, theres no way a body can defend for six bodies using preta path. If deva path deflects it with shinra tensei then he'll have to wait for minites b4 he can use shinra tensei again and that will leave him open for susanoo arrows or even amaterasu.

You dumass he cant use Kirin unless its a thundery location, and Kirin takes long to form too, the paths stand near each other so even if its thundering which is like 5% of the time, Deva wud use shinra tensei. wtf are you saying, Kirin wont work! Sasuke can easily create acsending air current by sendin fire in the air as seen when he fought itachi

Sasuke can defend himself with susanoo if deva path pulls him over and how is he going to stop sasuke? All sasuke needs to do is protect himself with susanoo and send fire into the air. Deva path needs to get close to nagato b4 he can use chibaka tensei, so he might give away his position if he uses chibaka tensei.

Sasuke's genjutsu isn't weak anymore since he has ems which is a combination of itachi and his ms. So i see sasuke taking any path down with tsukuyomi.

I recently made a thread about sausauke having two kkei genkai and people had a lot of reaction to it but i will stay say with all sincerity nagato beats sasuke but sasuke demolishes pain and for the naruto lovers dont forget pain had already beaten naruto it is when naruto saw hinata get blown off that he turned to kyubi which only the deva path culd still fight almost equuaally aginst so my point is sasuke pwns pain nagato pwns sasuke

in my opinion , i think pain/nagato is among the strongest characters in naruto putting aside madara and so6p ! better then itachi or sasuke ... just think how meany great skilled ninja he put down like salamander ( whitch the 3 sannin couldnt beat ) , jiraya , kakashi , hole konoha village ... etc etc ... includeing jinchuriki like 6 tail and fought naruto when he was weakend after the hole village fight ! whitch one in naruto anime did that ? destroy hole village ? and put down so meany shinobi at once !!!

Shinara Tensei definietly makes it completely useless in this battle. With this technique Deva can protect himself and other paths.

Why is everyone ignoring the fact that deva path can't use shinra tensei continuously?? The recovery time of shinra tensei depends on how power the shinra tensei he used is. What i'm sayin is that deva path would need a powerful shinra tensei to blow kirin away after which he'll be defenseless for more than ten secs against amaterasu and susanoo arrows since he used a powerful susanoo and ten secs is enough time for sasuke to use more than 3 amaterasus and susanoo arrows.
