he's definatley the kind of ninja to ask for help he needed to make sure CT was wrecked, he is not a sensory type he can't tell how much chakra attacks posess.

anyway in a one v one between itachi and nagato with out edo tensie itachi could easily tsukuyomi as nagato has no defence to genjutsu.

just remember in what state they were: Karin and Suigetsu unconscious, Juugo became a kid, Sasuke exhausted

lol its u again khadyz just to let u kno i don't hate nagato but i don' kno man u seem to hate on itachi every thread ur on but anyway idc about that, i am just saying why would Itachi not take their help against Ct when there clearly two really strong ninja next to him, why would itachi just try to take it on by himself it is illogical for him do that cos he would need a lot more effort and u like every nagato fan cannot see that and it is tru we don't kno how strong yaska magatama is so we can't say if it would destroy it or not. yaska is from susano one of the rarest powers u get from MS obviously its strong but probably not TBB level which is just amazing power but u have to remember that he has other attacks also like amaterasu that can also aid him and he probably can also use the tech(yasaka magatama) multiple times but obviously that takes more effort and chakra so its very obvious to get help from others when they are right there, Itachi does not have any reason why not to ask help. But obviously you would not understand things like this since u probably think nagato can beat anyone even madara(who has ems and rinnegan) which you have stated on previous threads even though that is clearly not the case.

Sasuke- They call him the Avenger, Killed Danzo, Was about to kill Kakashi and Sakura afterwards too until Naruto came, Has the MS, beat killerbee, and wants to destroy Konah.

we don't know how powerful yasakani no magatama is, so its not safe to say itachi couldn't have destroyed chibaka tensei on his own and nagato/ kabuto couldn't react to the totsuka blade on time. Yes i agree he was distracted.

I really doubt the yasaka no magatama is more powerful than naruto's six tailed bijuu bomb (which chibaku tensei tanked easily).

Also, nagato had a cool down time for deva path so he couldn't repel the blade, and kabuto was too distracted to activate preta path in time. dodging was not an option either.

Pain has everything nagato has and more:
- MOBILITY
- 6 pairs of rinnegan (no blindspots, teamwork better than sensor ninjas as stated by j-man)
- immunity to poison
- can use omni-directional attacks

I'm also under the impression that the totsuka blade can't seal a pain body; they're dead, and from what i got from the DB entry, it can only seal things with a soul. It's like saying the blade can seal a tree, which i really doubt. this gives pain another huge advantage which nagato doesn't have (even stuff like the death god would be useless). though i may be wrong about the sealing sword.

sword of totsuka probably cannot be absorbed becus its not ninjutsu its a sealing sword that traps a person in genjutsu for eternity that is the probable reason why he could not absorb it, but anyway the bodies can be sealed its not only the soul but the body also when itachi used it, it absorbed nagato's body inside the gourd as well not his soul only. But u are right that mobility is something that they gain as pain and their eyesights are better, but the thing they do lose is speed and the power of the techs.

I originally said that Sasuke, but know that I think about it, Pain would win. He has canceling ninjutsu and genjutsu moves. The only thing that would beat him is tactics and Sasuke seems to filled with hate these days to ever use tactics. Its sad to say, but Sasuke would be reckless in a battle against Nagato. This is another reason why Itachi is stronger than Sasuke even if Sasuke has the EMS.
