The majority of the debate was a great read, but when you both got bogged down in real life physics, the quality of the debate suffered a little. However, overall you both displayed a vast amount of knowledge concerning your respective characters, not on my level but pretty close xd.
Since Varrah and 6 Paths have already given most of the improvements and comments on the debate itself, i'll just cover a few things.
To DrProof: You shouldn't of relied on real life physics too much since if your assumptions turn out to be wrong, your argument completely collapses. You should of focused on Kakuzu's wide scale attacks devastating the landscape (along with Sasori's puppets) putting him in an offensive and stronger position. You also failed to mention that Iron Sand takes much more time to coagalute compared to Gaara's Sand, along with the fact that its not automatic. This two glaring disadvantages of Sasori's arsenal leave him prone to defending the entirety of the fight or suffer putting himself at risk.
Concerning Owarij's flight point, you should of said that concentrating his efforts into maintaining a layer of sand would hinder his efforts in attacking (controlling multiple sections of Iron Sand for different purposes is a difficult to say the least). Furthermore, being aerial would leave him more prone to elemental barrages whilst giving Kakuzu apt reaction time to dodge Sasori's Iron Sand much like Sakura and Chiyo.
The final thing which would of made your argument stronger is Kakuzu's innate ability to cover all angles and from long range to keep his masks safe. Bombarding Sasori with Katon, Fuuton and Raiton from different angles (as shown) would overwhelm his defense since no defense is absolute nor on the scale of tanking all of that once. As Itachi once said, every jutsu has a weakness. Constructing a dome in the time it takes Kakuzu's relatively fast jutsu to strike him isn't an ideal counter considering Iron Sand takes much more time to form into concrete shapes that are capable of keeping their form.
To Owarij: Not many comments for you, you debated exactly the way i would of with Sasori. Using Sasori's analytical ability and Kakuzu's defense nature to give your combatant the advantage was innovative to say the least. I stole some of your scans/images for future use xd.
However, the only thing i would say is don't use the Iron Sand flight ability too often nor as your main tactic in countering the opponent's fighting style. Sasori control Iron Sand via controlling the 3rd Kazekage, putting himself on a layer of Iron sand would mean continuously concentrating Sandaime's magnetic forces to do just that. You have to bare in mind that the 3rd controls his Iron Sand solely with magnetic forces, something which can only perform one action at any given time.
Look at the scan where Sasori uses Iron Sand World Order, Sandaime's chest unleashes magnetic forces at a higher rate to produce that effect, if he were to use a layer of Iron Sand he would become unable to use magnetic forces offensively, leaving him in a vulnerable state to fighters like Kakuzu, Deidara and anyone capable of countering long-range combatants.
Otherwise, you both did an amazing job and i feel like i should participate in one of these in the nearby future. I'll be using Kisame to stick to the Akatsuki member theme xd
Oh right, i have to decide a winner.
Vote: Owarij
Reasoning: He knew his character more strongly and had several tactics to overcome the entirety of Kakuzu's arsenal.
Since Owarij received three votes, he wins by default. He's the declared winner of this matchup
