Overall do you prefer part 1 or part 2 more?

I prefer part 1. It's probably nostalgia but there was something about part 1 I liked more... I guess everything had more of an edge to it. I was more surprised by new abilities, probably because the series was still in development so there was a lot of new stuff to show.

But one thing I can say for SURE is that part 1 was waaay more intense. Their first mission, Naruto/Sasuke VS Haku, the exams, forest of death... all of it was 10/10 as far as intensity goes.

Not to take away credit from part 2, it's pretty good.
But I still prefer part 1.

The Rock Lee vs Gaara fight is what made me start watching this. But overall, I am more satisfied with part 2.

Part 1, better animation,music,fights. More characters were relevant. Plot was nice and clean.
Part 2 a lot of fights are boring. My biggest peeve is how literally no one got developed any further except some villans(Itachi) and team 7.
