I'm talking about Amon.

Blood-bending is just so powerful, and not only that, he's one of the if not the most skilled non-bending combatants in the series. He's incapacitated many talented benders without even having to bend, and he was a water bending prodigy. He also tanked Mako's lightning from point-blank range.

He wasn't even defeated either! He defeated Korra but she was somehow able to airbend, which is still weird and was never explained, but Amon had to lose somehow.

Zaheer, Uniloq, Ozai, any of them, I still think Amon takes them all down.

This guy got pretty ripped off as a character too. He could've been utilized more seasons 2 and 3 as a villain or an anti-hero, or something along those lines. Honestly, I think the creators just had to get rid of him because he was so strong.

I agree with the last line, I think the creators kind of made him too strong by accident. The fact that they put him up against an inexperienced avatar is just too OP, imo. Aang defeated that one bloodbender one-shot, but Korra isn't on his level yet, so it was either hide him for years, or just get rid of him.

Hmm, I think that evil water bender woman would beat Amon.
If she has some sort of blood bending tricks up her sleeve maybe.

Zaheer>Amon
His spirit bending is powerful, I don't know how he'd apply it in a fight though.

Hmmm Idk about strongest

He was probably my favorite villain ^_^
The problem with Amon is that Mako and Korra were both able to resist his Blood Bending to a degree. (Which was BS btw)

But I imagine benders like the Red Lotus could resist too, then it'd come down to bending, in which I think Amon still wins. U__U

It was azula only reason she lost was because she went cray cray even silo said she seemed off

What? Ozai was clearly better than Azula. Azula had trouble with Katara in book 2 when she was on point and was even bested by her later on.

Yeah the Avatar was clearly above Amon and Yakone's abilities, sadly. Nothing comes close to the Avatar State.

But he had the power of the comment which really allowed for his power boost other than that the only person he could fight was Zuko at kid age XD but I'll give him the win for this one
