The Byakugan still holds many secrets. Boruto was the only one seeing Momoshiki's spirit because of his "Byakugan blood". But now when I think about it. Momoshiki was rather relaxed while realizing that Boruto has Byakugan blood mixed within him. He wasn't worried about Sasuke's Rinnegan either.

How come the clan isn't worried about another species having their eyes and source of power? Doesn't make sense tbh

The "Secrets of the Byakugan" that were mentioned in part 1 by Hiashi and Neji and were the whole reason behind the Caged Biird Seal still haven't been unveiled, so I hope it's something good. If they don't ignore it anyways.

I kind of get the feeling that Momoshiki and Kinshiki defected from the Otosuki clan to pursue their own quest for power so I don’t see them as a reflection of the clans motives or beliefs.

Interesting. Maybe because their power aligns with the body despite having a doujutsu for themselves. This might be nothing but a conjecture but maybe their doujutu derives from their ootsutsuki body(does Toneri's Tenseigan ring a bell and the fact that Hanabi and Hinata can't awaken that eye themselves bec the lack of OOtsutsuki body).

Ignore this I'm sleep deprived. At this point, The Last is a weak narrative link unless Toneri becomes a bigger key player.

Otsutsuki clan is nothing special. I'd beg to differ and speak on how Itachi'd give each and every one of them a straight armed - roast'. Not even joking.


The only character worth his cash is sebly Toneri.....
