Ototsuki Clan killing the Hyuuga?

Assuming the Ototsuki Clan somehow gets the information about the Byakugan being in the possession of humans,would they care? Would they try to kill each and every Hyuuga to save the secrets of their eyes?

The Byakugan still holds many secrets. Boruto was the only one seeing Momoshiki's spirit because of his "Byakugan blood". But now when I think about it. Momoshiki was rather relaxed while realizing that Boruto has Byakugan blood mixed within him. He wasn't worried about Sasuke's Rinnegan either.

How come the clan isn't worried about another species having their eyes and source of power? Doesn't make sense tbh

Their eyes aren't even secret (not the byakugan anyway), and I'd doubt they'd even care. It's not like the byakugan is their most coveted eye anyway. Kaguya and Momoshiki barely used their byakugan eyes in battle. Toneri stole Hanabi's eyes for the sake of awakening the tenseigan, not for the byakugan's power. Heck, on the moon, the people literally gave up their byakugan eyes to power the tenseigan altar. This happened so much that Toneri was said to be born without eyes (either that or his were taken at birth).

Anyway, it is implied that they have a culture of hunting down and harvesting chakara fruit, so it is likely that a number of them have eyes on the level of:

Rinnegan
Sharingan
Tenseigan
Jougan
Rinnesharingan
etc...

If so, then byakugan wouldn't be seen as being that strong or coveted.

I personally doubt that Momoshiki alone could wipe out a clan of taijutsu specialists when it was stated that taijutsu is his weakness. Kinshiki on the other hand could kill them all.

I kind of get the feeling that Momoshiki and Kinshiki defected from the Otosuki clan to pursue their own quest for power so I don’t see them as a reflection of the clans motives or beliefs.

You might be onto something. Kinshiki said himself that he found out about the earth's god tree and that it's law to report this information to the clan but Momoshiki refused.

I think you misunderstood my question. I wasn't talking about moon Ototsukis. I was talking about the original Ototsuki Clan. Kaguya's, Momoshiki's and Kinshiki's clan.

I think you misunderstood my question. I wasn't talking about moon Ototsukis. I was talking about the original Ototsuki Clan. Kaguya's, Momoshiki's and Kinshiki's clan.

in the scenario that the byakugan was developed the same level as the sharingan and the jougan is its evolution comparable to mangyeku as rinnegan is comparable to tenseigan?

I feel as if they would simply treat it as they would the ones with sharingans.

To these space vampires, their only goal is to reap the life of things and transform them into chakra fruit. I doubt they would care.
In fact, I feel as if they'd only take them as an insult as they are mistakes of Kaguya.

However since I'm feeling generous today, I'll expand upon the topic.
From what I remember I don't think there was a negative reaction from Momo or Kin regarding it. Even then Dojutsu's isn't their thing, rather they're much more invested in Charka Fruits. So yeah, I don't see them targeting the Hyuga's.

Definitely would be a compelling story element in varying ways, one of which would no doubt be giving Bolt some losses along his journey, which is much needed. Could even lead to Hyuga Massacre to parallel Sasuke-sensei lol.

Momoshiki and Kinshiki never really interacted with Hinata, so to say they don't care may not be right until we see how the fight went down. But who knows. Also, I disagree with the idea that they are rogues from the Ootsutsuki Clan given Toneri and Kinshiki's words in the anime.

So far all the original Ohtutsuki quested out to find the God tree and conquer that world with the tree. Seems Kaguya took over 6 worlds and we know that Momoshiki and Kinshiki fought Naruto/Sasuke in.
