I thought the same until this chapter. Seems she uses natural chakra like Naruto using BZ like a rechargeable battery. Only difference is that her chakra management suck ass. She blew her wad underestimating her opponents.

This actually makes a lot of sense but it kinda bothers me that a semi-goddess relies on regular chakra.
