It may be a coincidence, but it may very well be a clue about The Scroll; at this moment, time travel wouldn't be so farfetched: we have alternate dimensions, revival of the dead and many more outrageous things...
I wouldn't be surprised if Oro and Sasuke would pop-up in front of Hashirama; the thing that bothers me is the fact that Suigetsu said that The Scroll could have a big influence over the war (something among those lines)...this means that it can also give power beside info...Hashirama being brought to the battlefield? xd xd
we'll just have to wait and see.

I just don't see how time travel will be used in naruto, Just an ability would be completely out of place.

Maybe an ability like Madara has shown in the Video game clip, Being able to rewind time say anything within the present and 1min ago, this ability has a cooldown like Ka (not aslong though, say a 10/20mins).

Sasuke being able to time travel would just end the manga, It would be far to corny for him to go back, Stop his clan from being killed, Making friends with naruto/sakura, living with his brother and family and so on would just ruin it for me.

If kishi is going to take inspiration from that manga, he would seriously have to rework the time manipulation thing.

Well, if you can go back and change the past then the present will also change, that could be what Suigetsu was referring to as "the data in the scroll, we HAWKS can rule the world, etc." and remember Suigetsu's exact words when he first saw it?

"It can even be used to gain control of this war"

Meaning the scroll is not directly linked to the Sage, Madara, Rinnegan, Juubi, etc. he's saying that an alternative use from the power of the scroll is to rule the world/ control the war. If we assume that the scroll also has the power to meet people (because Sasuke said in meeting the ones who knows everything when he first read the scroll) then the scroll facilitates both time/reality warping and meeting people from the past.

Well to be fair, I think the power of the scroll is incomplete, because of Orochimaru's incapacitation from RDS so I think the scroll's jutsu was left only semi-finished, it could have limitations like limited duration, limited area scope, etc. Oro did say something back then about "another way" to get his arms back when Tsunade refused to heal them, this could be it, maybe.

PS: Madz has time manipulation jutsu in the upcoming VG?

Yes, but like I said in my previous posts the scroll may have limitations, like limited duration,etc. so maybe the scroll's power is not an unlimited duration trip to the past.

Very valid points, perhaps Suigetsu merely glanced at the scroll and said "wohoo time travel!" Without knowing the possible limitations the jutsu may have, he is not exactly very smart, thats why he gave the scroll to Sasuke saying he was Oro's greatest disciple and if he took his time he can use it himself, also take note of Oro's reaction, he says why do you want to meet them instead of saying you want to save them, its because the scroll may not have the power to alter history, just to meet someone from the past. And judging by the scroll just laying on his working table in his secret room would hint that the scroll's jutsu may not have been completed yet.
