Orochimaru's Kinjutsu clearly put him above the Sannin

People still argue over the strength of the Sannin right? They shouldn't, because somehow it isn't stupidly obvious that Orochimaru is above both the other Sannin, maybe even combined. Before he left the village he seemed to be on par and maybe even stronger than the other 2 but his true strength came from his experiments into Forbidden Techniques, with these (his true power) he isn't even comparable to Jiraiya and Tsunade.

And this isn't just edo tensei, we haven't even seen Orochimaru's full power. He had none of his powers against that excuse of a fight between him and Itachi, he took out the 4th Kazekage with minimal effort (this one is uncertain. He did have Kabuto & Kimimaro with him) he wanted to torment his sensei and experiment with the edo tensei during the Hiruzen fight and then for the rest of the series has had no hands to use his multitude of jutsu.

Even when all 3 Sannin had huge handicaps in the Sannin fight from Part 1- Orochimaru still had the biggest handicap and took on 2 Sannin at once and almost won. Even though Jiraiya only wanted to capture Naruto when the 4th tail began to form- he still took a giant scar to the chest. Jiraiya has many capture techniques without harming Naruto and yet he almost died- Orochimaru merely played around with the 4 tails for fun.​

True but they were old, Tsunade became a gambling alcoholic and Jiraiya walked around peepin' da girls and also drinking. Orochimaru was like the only one who even cared about being a ninja/sannin still.

I wholeheartedly agree. Orochimaru is vastly superior to both Jiraiya and Tsunade. Current Orochimaru could possibly fend off and best them; simultaneously even, perhaps.​

how will orochimaru deal with jiraiya's sage mode and most of is op jutsu.as for edo tensei,orochimaru is a little weak without it.

Orochimaru has always been leagues above base Jiraiya and Base Tsunade, though I have my doubts if he could defeat SM Jiraiya and Baykou or whatever it is, Tsunade

There's miles difference between manga representation and actual abilities and situations. With manga representation you could argue part 1 Gaara is stronger than Danzo or Hanzo just because he was set up to be more relevant and threatening for the sake of the plot.

That's not the same. I'm talking about the hints:

- Jiraiya said he will kill Tsunade if she betrays the village
- Orochimaru defeated Jiraiya several times
- Tsunade defeated Orochimaru ( even thought they were BOTH handicapped )
- Orochimaru himself admitted Katsuyu can kill him
- Tsunade hinted Jiraiya is stronger then her ( she said if he wasn't able to defeat Pain, there is no one in Konoha who can )
- Ebisu stated only a Sannin can defeat an another Sannin

Etc.

Very true, but even if he has some Fuutons and Doton they won't be enough against the Juubi or Madara. And if he gets a new jutsu, everyone will say its asspull, because he didn't used it against Hiruzen.

Orochimaru without Edo Tensei isn't anything special.Orochimaru is a scientist who study's other abilities while not creating anything of his own worth mentioning.In the Sannin showdown he wasn't the most handicapped because Jiraiya couldn't used his ninjutsu when that is his primary power, so Jiraiya was the most handicapped in that fight.Sasying Orochimaru had none of his power against Itachi is bull&^%*.There was nothing in the manga that even hinted at Orochimaru not being at full strength when he tried to take Itachi eyes.Just face the facts, Itachi fodderized Orochimaru because Itachi is a superior shinobi from the Uchiha Clan.Orochimaru has shown nothing that says he can take on a MS sharingan or any of the powers that MS intales.Orochimaru is superior to the others Sannin in some ways, but in others, he is weaker than both Jiraiya and Tsunade.
