Orochimaru's Kinjutsu clearly put him above the Sannin

please re-read the manga.
Naruto/Oro fight:
1. Orochimaru actually landed a hit on 4 tails
2. Triple Rashamon was enough to divert and dumb down the destruction of a tbb
3. He launched the snake wall at 4 tails
4. he used kusanagi to push naruto back an extremely large distance.
5. He reattached himself numberous times

so you're telling me he "evaded and ran away" the entire fight? when he simply regenerated his body when needed...that doesn't seem like "evading and running away" to me.

Btw, Oro's body was ill...so of course sasuke would take that opportunity to strike at oro..you see he didn't try to strike any other time because he knew oro was too strong healthy. Anyone is vulnerable when they're on their DEATH BED...

and another thing. The only reason Itachi was able to "fodderize" Oro the second time is because he had a legendary spirit sword thing...that NO ONE else has...it just so happened to be plot-no-jutsu that Orochimaru was "sealed away", just to get the last laugh at Itachi and come back later.

then i advise you go re-read or re-watch. because it was nowhere near the majority of the fight that he "ran away" and evading is part of a ninja's way of fighting. that's like saying "Sakura and chiyo are weak because all they did was evade and run away the majority of the time against Sasori" when they had good reason to evade, and strike. Same situation. Oro evaded, and landed hits when he had the opportunity. So your point is null and void. Next.

Also, your Chiyo and Sakura comparison is idiotic.Both Chiyo and Sakura did much more attacks in that fight, not does it have anything to do with this thread.

That's not the same. I'm talking about the hints:

- Jiraiya said he will kill Tsunade if she betrays the village
- Orochimaru defeated Jiraiya several times
- Tsunade defeated Orochimaru ( even thought they were BOTH handicapped )
- Orochimaru himself admitted Katsuyu can kill him
- Tsunade hinted Jiraiya is stronger then her ( she said if he wasn't able to defeat Pain, there is no one in Konoha who can )
- Ebisu stated only a Sannin can defeat an another Sannin

Etc.

i don't know where you seem to get your definition of "toe to toe" from because judging from what you just said, you've got it misconstrued. going toe to toe against someone is not the same as being "on par" with them. toe to toe means actually putting up a fight against, or being in direct opposition, confrontation, however you want to put it. and i do believe orochimaru was the only one to ever be in direct opposition...in a sick body...to 4 tails naruto...so yes, orochimaru was going toe to toe with 4 tails naruto, like we all read, saw, and believed. I honestly don't even know if you know what you're argument is about anymore

Orochimaru without Edo Tensei and while his body was rejecting him went toe to toe with a 4-Tailed Kyuubi and enjoyed it...

Exactly:

1) He 1v1'ed the 4 tailed Kyubi FOR FUN!!! and held his own...
2) He 2v1'ed the Tsunade and Jiraiya, who are both Hokage level, without arms and without jutsu and still would have won if Manda had not gotten defeated.
3) He killed Hiruzen the strongest of the 5 kage while playing around, he actually let him live after having a knife to his neck simply because he wanted to toy around with him some more.
4) Even when he dies he survives

The guy has some of the greatest feats we have seen in the manga and even while getting those feats he is still holding back alot of his power and not taking the fight seriously. And lastly I want to say that every feat or failure after he killed Hiruzen should be further acknowledged because he was unable to use jutsu and was DYING from his ARMS decomposing while they were still attached to his body, which may I add was also excruciatingly painful.
