I just witnessed another guy going about orochimaru and the subject stirred sumthng in my memory
well to put it simply we never perhaps saw Orochimaru at his best his true power i mean Hiruzen sarutobi did seal away the spirits of his hands using the reaper death seal.......
so i dont think from there on he never used any justsu that required hand seals
i mean he used summoning but then he just used the blood in his hands and pressed them against the ground
can u point out anywhere after the sarutobi incident where he used any handseals requiring jutsu......
I think that was the also the reason why he wanted the Ocular powers of the sharingan............

he uses his arms and his snakes and swords juitsu after the they were sealed when Kabuto met up with Yamato and Orochimaru battled 4 tailed deamon cloak Naruto, but I dont think like your saying we see him making handseals. His real form (Giant white snake) dosnet even have arms so not sure if it matters.

Edit: Did he use hand seals to summon his tripple deamon gates rashimon(SP?)

Na even in that battle he never did use any jutsu just jumped in and out of narutos attcks and where he got hit he would come out of his own mouth (argh)
and also got the sword out and elongated his body that is it

After his fight with sarutobi Orochimaru lost his hands literally that means he cannot perform hand seals which means his whole arsenal of justu that require hand seals
is useless.........and the reason why he wants the sharingan more than anything

i think he wanted the sharingan because of its ability to see in slow-mo, copy jutsus and repel genjutsu (so far his biggest weakness besides the sickness card kishi uses on OP characters like kimmi and itachi), and the 2 uchiha's he tried to take over were also top of the class ninja and extremly strong.

not sure about the hand seals but alot of his jutsu didn't use them in the first place, he can summon without hand seals, use his weird forbidden body shedings and yeah his triple demon gates he just had to bite his thumbs for blood and make a summoning seal with both hands. isn't IWR the only time hes used hand seals?

Is that how the dead demon seal works? Its used a little diffrently when 4th sealed half the 9 tails chakra. It does show Orochimaru's arms being pulled out then cut and sealed so I think your right.

when orochimaru got his arms sealed by the third his arms went black. he then asked tsunade to heal him he refused and then he soul transfered to anther body. when orochimaru transfered to another body he got back the use of his arms, they were not disabled. because they werent blackened. also when tsunade denied him orochimaru said "there are other ways to obtained the use of my arms again". does anyone remember him saying that cuz i really dont wanna dig it up

Hmmm the removing of his hands spirit may have damaged hi arms but with a new body he just got new arms how the hell would he get new spirit for his hands.......
it just undid the physical damage

yea and thats all he needed. if you recall when his arms were damaged he couldnt even move them and he was in serious pain. remember when yamato jumped outta the sasori suit. he attacked him with a hidden snake jutsu out of his arms and thats after he got a new body. the snakes came outta orochimaru arms. when his arms were blackened he couldnt even lift them. and the hidden snakes came outta his mouth and was fighting with his feet against jman and tsunade. also when he was fighting kyuubi naruto he did his own summoning when he fought jman and tsunade kabuto had to use his blood and tattoo marking to summon manda. but when he got a new body he summoned triple rashomon by himself.

THANK YOU BANSHO!!!!!! FINALLLY!!!! I have been trying to tell everybody that any conflict Oro has gotten into since the fight with the third has been a handicap on his behalf. He knows HUNDREDS of jutsus and couldn't use many that required hand signs...and he fought a 4 tailed naruto LIKE IT WAS NOTHING...and on top of that...he had a host body that was rejecting him. Ppl don't want to admit....but alot of Shinobi cannot not hold a candle to a 100% Orochimaru...not even the other Legendary Sannin!
