Minato lacks the feats to defeat Orochimaru, even more so now that he has a body made of Hashirama's cells.

-Minato draws with Reaper Death Seal when he realizes all his Rasengans are eaten up by Orochimaru.

People are underestimating Minato...

- Ability to Teleport large thing with huge chakra (e.g. Juubi's TBB, Kurama's TBB and teleported Kurama himself)

- Supressed Kurama + defeated young Obito

- His fuinjutsu is better than Orochimaru (due to his wive Kushina showing him some clan secret sealing techniques and there's more to show hmmmm?)

- Look at Orochimaru, he underestimated Naruto being a normal genin-ninja in part 1 and look where Naruto is now. Pretty sure Naruto can singly handle Orochimaru and defeat him and that goes for Minato as well

and plus only people with Special Defence, e.g. Gaara's Sand, (Itachi, Sasuke, and Madara's Susanoo)... counter Minato's S/T jutsu and than defeat him at their own will.

When has Minato ever expressed he had prior knowledge on the Edo Tensei Jutsu, yet alone the workings of it and tags?

Simply because he has a good deal of experience with seals, that does not mean he can just change an unknown tag inside a persons head to anything he wants. Not to mention that the odds of him getting a chance to do this while being pressured by two former Hokage and a Sannin are slim.


Yes yes, The Hokage are considerably weaker than when they were alive with Orochimaru's tags in place. I'd still put them at a high jounin level, for what it's worth.


As for the battle as a whole, as of now it's a draw. Orochimaru has shown that even when his body is broken, he can regenerate. But he also lacks solid jutsu to deal with Minato.

Minato should have this with his proficiency i sealing techs.. damage mght not do much to oro but his seal's deffinetly will and if worst comes to worst he has the RDS to leaves things at a stalemate

First of all, Edo Tensei is a jutsu that is fairly well known. Minato should have at least minimal knowledge of it, seeing as how he is the succesor of the Third, who was the student of the Second.

It only makes sense to know about the Second's technique. It was more than renowned.

Contract seal works by taking away a summon from its master, breaking its ''contract''. Not only can that work against Edo Tensei, but it can also work against Manda, since Manda has made it clear more than once he doesn't exactly like Orochimaru.

Orochimaru can may or may not tank a rasengan, but when Minato tags him and starts spamming it he is toast. Oral Rebirth takes a lot of chakra, so there's that.
