Orochimaru can only revive Edo Neji (whom has the same feats as the real Neji, but regenerates). Summonings allowed.

Sasuke somehow combined powers of his Sharingan and Oro's Senjutsu Chakra from the Cursed Seal to resist the transmigration ritual. Manga clearly showed that Orochimaru must've trained really hard in Genjutsu department ever since his incident with Itachi, considering that he shat with 0 diff on the same Genjutsu that years earlier partially managed to paralyse him.
You always come up with the:
''Orochimaru found a way to gain immunity to this technique which could be potentially hazardous and could leave or have left either a fatal wound or kill/''ed'' him, although all of this was offpanel and nothing was ever hinted about such''
We all know that was his pure Sharingan, which also doesn't prove immunity or strength of the genjutsu and Orochimaru has no resistance to his genjutsu, just like in canon... also, Hebi Sasuke still possesses his Curse Mark, so none of that matters in this case.

What I meant was that, the ones to favor Orochimaru always bring the argument of Orochimaru being an intellectual scientist, genius etc, although this doesn't grant him immunity to techniques. Deidara trained much longer than Orochimaru and more intensively, and despite that fact he countless of times fell prey to Sasuke's genjutsu, which is even inferior to Itachi's.
While the theory that Hebi Sasuke used his Curse Mark in conjunction with Sharingan to resist Fushi Tensei is not only just a hypothesis but also doesn't matter in this case due to Sasuke possessing it, and Fushi Tensei =/= Sasuke's genjutsu. Irrelevance.
