Besides, like i already said he's a long range type fighter, that would make things tricky for oro.

we saw all of his strongest moves, we definatly didn't see all of orochimaru's moves either since he learned so many but mostly used snakes and his sword.

It's definitely a tough fight....but Oro shall win
Oro's techs are more vast in power.
The techniques with which Deidara might pose problems to Orochimaru are his two most powerful technique - the gigantic Deidara clay bomb and the self-explosion.
The 1st one, Oro could counter it with its body-switch technique
The 2nd, Oro could do like Sasuke and escape with Manda.
Oro will fight Deidara's usual tectics and techs with its weird techniques, summonings (both Snakes, Manda and the 3-Gates), usual jutsus and the Kusanagi sword. This should be sufficient to pawn Dei.
As other trumps cards, Oro also has Edo-Tensei summonings and that ability to poison with its Snake blood.
Sorry, I like that you're trying to defend Dei's chances but they are way too slim (if not inexistent) against Orochimaru...

i say of course oro would win against diedara.oro is 1 of the most powerful villian in naruto series n even the 3rd hokage had trouble against him.no chance for diedara .talking about diedara's long range fighting it wont stand a chance coz he has manda who is huge n great speed..oro would catch him n kick his ... n GAMEOVER

Lol we see what you trying to do but Cyborg it hard seeing Deidara winning against Oro. I like Deidara but like that guy said how he can summon Madara then he can extend his neck.
But to add to his neck he can extend his waist too also this clip show he amazing fast and can use wind element.

Oh come on, Manda+Long Neck+Snake body+Jutsus...One of them has to connect...Deidara pawns in my book.....i still don't see any realistic way for oro to even touch him at such a long range when he jumps on his clay bird and starts bombing oro silly
If not, he could Edo Tensei, the 1st Hokage and he'll make the biggest Wood bridge till Dei's bird. Any flying ability Edo Tensei could do the trick in that case...
You're taking the long-range matter too seriously. Even Itachi couldn't fly but he did defeat Dei...

also flying worked against Garaa because he did not shoot in the air with anything. People can shoot or suck people up like Naruto and Kakashi had D on the run.
sasuke is more like the reincarnation of oro if you think about it.
oro pretty much taught sasuke everything he knew so the out come would be about the same
but sasuke has sharingan which gives an advantage but oro is still incredible with jutsu
