Orochimaru vs Deidara

Even if Orochimaru brought all of his tricks to the table Deidara and his Bombs would blast them all away just as 4tailed Naruto did.

If Orochimaru summons Manda I agree it will close the distance a bit but Deidara is always moving unlike Gaara (which Orochimaru would have a better chance against).So Orochimaru would have to pursue Deidara and most likely Manda's mouth will be open trying to bite or swallow Deidara and Deidara will simply use C2 bombs and fling them into Manda's mouth and thats the end of Orochimaru's most powerful summon. Now Orochimaru is ground stricken once again and Deidara would start to bombard him playfully until he dies.

I'm not saying Orochimaru is weak or anything because he is far from it!
But fighting someone like Deidara would be difficult for any of the current Ninja in the Manga due to his flight. Gaara and Tsuchikage are the only ones to even reach Deidara in the sky without exausting their chakra. Kakashi,Itachi,Sasuke,Madara would have to use their MS techniques to end him quickly and maybe not even them.

So IMO Deidara wins this battle.

Orochimaru survived thanks to Sanjuu Rashoumon, if KM4 blast hit him directly, he would die, he said that himself. But Sanjuu Rashoumon wont help him against C4, plus Orochimaru dont have Sharingan and cant see cloud of microbombs.

but he can hide under the ground or escape with manda or one way or the other there is no way deidara can beat orochimaru wen oro died everybody couldn't believe it but nobody was shocked on the death of deidara so i still say dat deidara is no match for orochimaru

Oro was sick, and Sasuke had grown stronger than him, and i think personally, orochimaru knew that Sasuke was going to kill Itachi and Orochimaru planned to let Sasuke absorb him, but what he didnt expect was for Itachi to seal him away.

Orochimaru is different form Sasuke. Sasuke has the Sharingan will Orochimaru has the experince. The battle can end up with Deidara killed by Orochimaru or Orochimaru killed by Deidara. I choose "Tie".

Pain/Nagato possess the most powerful Dojutsu in the history of the shinobi world.He also was trained by Jiraiya and knew many of his techniques and jutsus.Diedara makes clay bombs from his had, not exactly in the same league as Pain/Nagato.Not to mention, even with Pain/Nagato's abilities, Jiraiya was still able to killed three of his bodies.Deidara was barely able to get away from Kakashi, a shinobi weaker than orochimaru, with his life.

He beat Gaara because gaara was protecting the village and didn't notice that Deidara mixed his clay bomb within gaara sand.I doubt the situation would have happen so easy if it was a one on one fight without Gaara being hindered

Well, from what we know, Orochimaru doesn't have many long range jutsus, but he does have the Sword of Kusanagi which can extend and levitate in the air, which would give him one way of attacking Deidara.I'm not saying this would be enough to defeat Diedara or that Orochimaru would win easily, but I can see someone of has many powerful jutsu and who was consider a genuis, finding a way to get around the attack of a long range jutsu users.
