He just got back his Sage chakra from from Kabuto, so I bet he has DSM now - a much improved version of Kabuto, since he was the original source of Kabuto's Sennin powers.

What do you think? I think he is a much more dangerous villain than Obito, who doesn't have much other than Kamui, which is completely ineffective against Kakashi

I don't think you can become a sage just by absorbing Sage chakra. Certainly not what happened to poor Preta...
And I think that if Oro was more powerful than ever, he'd try to attack Sasuke immediately, and steal his body

He was just playing safe, Orochimaru only attacks someone if he is completely prepared and if the opponent is weaker. He is not the battle-loving prideful warrior type like Sasuke, Madara etc.

The only reason why Orochimaru couldn't master sage mode was because he lacked the large chakra pool to balance out the sage chakra e.g. like Senju, Uzumaki etc.

But since he got back his chakra + the bonus abilities/traits that Kabuto acquired, I think it is safe to assume that Orochimaru has DSM.

Kish had this stated in the manga for a reason, don't underestimate Orochimaru. He's a Sannin, hokage candidate and former ROOT and Akaskti member for a reason.
