Good point, you're right. This makes me look forward to Gaiden more. Oro will be extremely hard to get rid of as long as there's CM 's out there.

Orochimaru has DSM, manga favcts he took his power back from kabuto. But he still gets rekt by current Naruto and gets spontaneously annihilated by current sasuke.

I agree with you, the Curse Mark was Orochimaru's chakra under the influence of Senjutsu so he must have managed to unlock it before experimenting on his body.
In fact the main reason Oro wanted a body was so he could absorb NE on Ashura's level since he aimed for Kaguya's power
