Orochimaru giving Danzo sharingan?

He could have been controlled by Madara to do so if Madara has the Same ability that Danzos right eye did. Orochimaru also went after Itachis body and Sharingans but was thwarted and lost his left hand in the process. But Sauskes body would make a better host for Orochimarus soul than Itachis seeing as how Itachi was diseased.If Orochimaru gets about 3 years use of a body, and Itachis could crap out at any given time I'd take the better body for my soul hence Sauske.
see with the whole stealing saskue or itachi's body thats what i thought too, but when saskue finally went with orochimaru and the akautski had thier meeting, they said that orochimaru finally obtained the sharingan, which he already shouldeve had from danzo, but madara controlling orochimaru does seem like a good possibilty
What it ment by oro finally obtained the sharingan it was ment that he would assumably take over sauskes body. He needed to take over the body to have both eyes and the uchihas blood to better weild it. Kakashi has the sharingan but it drains the hell out of him when he uses it because he doesn't have the blood. So the sharingan oro had possibly didnt have much use for him but he probably got a good deal for the trade to danzo
Yeah, madara had an insane amount of Uchiha eyes himself, full sets. Lets see if we do the math, danzo had ten eyes on his arm, thats five Uchiha members, Orochimaru could have gotten them before the slaying of the clan, and even before he fled Konaha, they never really say specifically when the exchange happened. He built Danzo that arm, maybe the whole thing was a gift at once, body of the first complete with sharingans and all. DUDES GOT A FACE ON HIS SHOULDER!!! Whaaaaaaaaat!
Good point. Im not sure if oro was still in akatsuki at the time of the invasion, so im not sure about the tineline of that, also other than that itatchi and shusui were the only real uchihas who had any real promise of obtaining ms. im currious if all this other small story background will get filled in.

Orochimaru was doing experiements so Danzo was a test subject. Also Orochimaru found out about the side effects so he rather have a full Uchiha bio to use the sharingan at its full strength without running out chakra.

He could have one body, but a dead Uchiha isnt worth anything unless you take their Sharingan, or bring them back via IWR(edo tensi). And then what would he do? I think they need to survive in order for his experements to be a succes.
He had the ones on his arm and then the one in his head too. even if it wasnt a full set it belonged to another person we happen to know who it belonged to thanks to Ao, and also Madara during the Sauske vs Danzo battle. The face is that of Harishima and its also in the base of the demon statue where Madara implanted the 1sts dna and around the same place where he spawned the 100k Zetsu or at least where the white Zetsu are tied to.
Could have been in Akatuski still, or already,but I doubt it because if you look at the Gara vs Kimimaro battle in the anime it will show you Orochimaru, Kabuto, Kimimaro around the Sandvillage killing Garas father the 4th Kazekage. If he had been I think he would have had his partner from Akatuski with him instead of his cronies.
Theres a lot of the background in the regular naruto series but I still want more of the details filled in as well.
And yes Orochimaru implanted Danzos augmented arm and Sharingan he mentions it in the manga, and in one of the last 2 or 3 episodes of the anime. And Danzo wanted Orochimarus lab books so he dispached a root member to track down Kabuto and get them its in the manga as well and I also started a thread about it trying to figure out who the heck the root member was.
Having a Uchiha to host his soul would be more benifical than trying to take Kakashi, even though I think he could. I think it was said somewhere in the manga or the anime that Tenzo/Yamato was one of the only experements to survive Orochimarus experements, but Danzo did to so it creates a conflict of sorts as to what the truth is.

I think what Orochimaru wanted was a host body that was genetically designed to handle the Sharingan. We've seen from Kakashi that extensive use of the Sharingan wears him out rather quickly, so it's safe to assume the same Orochimaru if he had just placed a sharingan in him. However if he were to have taken Sasuke's body, it would give him the benefit of not being exhausted as fast - since the body was that of an actual Uchiha.
Another benefit is Sasuke's age. At such a younger age, it still had potential to grow which I'm sure Orochimaru (who was bent on being immortal) was appealed to. I'm not saying that's the case, because if I remember right Orochimaru had to switch bodies every three years or something... but if it's a body like Sasuke's it could have lasted longer.

imo.. i think had the same problem as kakashi, if he transplanted the sharingan to hes body, he wouldent had the same stamina as an uchiha...so he just discard the middle man an whanted to transplant hes soul directly to an uchihas body..
and what better that a uchiha elite, like itachi or sasuke....

orochimaru just didnt want the sharingan he wanted a new body a vessel which he could continue to wreck havoc in. and the uchihas were naturally gifted even without the sharingan.
also like itachi said to kakashi when they first fought . he told him yes you have the sharingan but your dont have the body of an uchiha were the eye works best. thats why kakashi gets tried more quickly than sasuke would cuz his body isnt of the uchiha. so i guess orochimaru wanted the body as well as the sharingan

thats true but everything happens for a reason thats why kabuto has now taken up orochimaru will and is after sasuke
