I already mentioned in previous threads where sasuke and orochimaru might be going by explaining both of their benefits for such a journey and how it ties into the plot overall.But many have start another debate.This debate is who will be the final villain.We know the final battle of the war is being taken place.(sasuke and oro are not apart of it and more specifically oro wants nothing to do with it so don't expect them to suddenly be a ground zero when they also have a journey of there own to play out.
Secondly oro said he will take his body once he regains all his strength which means that is a plan.Since he will eventuall try to take sasuke body he will eventually need to get all his chakra back first.His full powers were fore shadowed by kabuto.The only differences between the two is that kabuto had sound 5 and take DNA.Some may say this would put him over the edge but i will tell you why that is wrong.Juugo's ability is there soly to absorb natural energy, allowing him to continuously use Sage Mode without assistance.Kabuto used Karin's healing powers which was aided by a steady pace of continuous natural energy to heal very rapidly , he also developed an altered version of Suigetsu's liquification abilities to make him impervious to psychical attacks.oro already has enough chakra on his own to reach sage mode (at full strength)and was already virtually invincible to begin with through his snake shedding technique.He knows also knows the sharingan inside and out knowing more about it and its evolution then most uchiha.
Lastly the battle taking place between obito and madara will eventually leave them dead.If oro is not even there to fight this will obviously leave him beside sasuke one of the last people alive to begin with.Orochimaru was introduced first and he is going out last.He has been aspiring to grasp the powers of the sage and through what kabuto could do and and knowing oro is straight up stronger them kabuto in general his sage mode will be stronger.Also he is the one who wrote that scroll so he is the one who knew the war could end like this and he is also the only one as stated by sasuke who can implement the plan on the scroll to begin with.Suck it up and face facts
