Hey, I am just going over characters specifically by watching all their appearances in the anime to date.
Orochimaru's first appearance in Naruto, if you remember, is disguised as a Grass ninja that fights Sasuke and Sakura on day 1 of the 2nd part of the chunin exam.
He opens his assault with the Futon: Daitoppa (Wind Release: Great Breakthrough) jutsu and shortly after during a brief pause in the fight, when face to face with Sasuke and Sakura, he momentarily reveals his "Orochimaru eye" (the eye of the face we all know and associate with as "Orochimaru") and either touches it or just pulls his eyelid down a bit to reveal the eye maybe, but anyway....
The end result is both Sasuke and Sakura are stricken with a terrible fear that renders them unable to move just from one glance of his one eye, the "intent to kill"
Sasuke mistakes this as a Genjutsu for a moment before he realizes it is a physical reaction to his opponents intent to truly kill him and his teammates.
He ends up having to stab himself in the leg to replace the fear emotion with pain, and gains enough composure to move and save Sakura from certain death and briefly escape to the trees, where they both continue to struggle with the fear.
Would that happen to be a result of this move?.....Kanashibari no Jutsu (Temporary Paralysis Technique)
if so, then this would in fact be considered a Genjutsu, right?
Here's why I posted this here.......if the answer to all the above is "no" then it's an unknown move, but now, after reading his jutsu over again, I think that is it.......
also, as a suggestion, adding whether a move is considered a Genjutsu, Taijutsu or Ninjutsu would be really cool!
