Two things:

1) Itachi can use any part of his body to trap Oro

2) Oro is not immune to genjutsu, especially that of Itachi's caliber.

Orochimaru has what it takes to kill Itachi. Most of you might say "Itachi one-shoted Orochimaru 8 years ago" but that was a much weaker Orochimaru who was careless and underestimated Itachi. Another one is that "Itachi one-shoted Oro with Totsuka blade." Once again, Oro was careless and had no knowledge of totska. Orochimaru create a sea of 10,000 snakes that can swarm Itachi and has other advantages:

-the snake share the same chakra signature as Oro. Oro can easily hide in his sea of snakes keeping Itachi from seeing/finding him. Itachi would need alot of amaterasu and susanoo to get rid of them all.

Orochimaru wont fall for Itachi's genjutsu. Oro knows all to well not to look into Itachi eyes and is EXTREMELY resilient to genjutsu and most other forms of attack. Orochimaru now has knowledge of the totska blade and wont get pierced. If he gets cut in half he'll just regenerate. Amaterasu wont work either since Oro would just shed his skin. Rashomon would protect Oro from susanoo attacks in general atleast temporarly.

Due to Itachi's relative inability to effectively harm let alone kill Orochimaru gives Oro a serious advantage. If Oro uses his versitle technigues correctly, he could defeat Itachi but it still wont be easy.

Edit: Itachi>Orochimaru but what im saying is that Oro has the POTIENTIAL to beat Itachi and how he could be able to do it.

Are we counting Edo-tensei in Oro's power? Because Fully powered Oro stomps. There's no way Itachi seals the past 4 hokages. Much less with Orochimaru being present to attack him.

A lot of people neglect the underestimating part. Plus being a Sage improved Orochimaru's chances. On top of that his new weapons should count for something now, even him regaining his arms.

I posted this on another thread (all of 1 day ago), but it still applies:

Itachi easily:
1) Itachi just uses Ameratsu or Genjutsu to end the fight instantly.
2) On the off chance Oro has summoned them in this time (unlikely since Oro would be commiting suicide to summon them while Itachi is about to use Ameratsu), he won't have given them tags, in which case they just stand around.
3) If Oro has already given them orders/tags, Itachi can then seal them afterwards before he restores them to full vitality
4) If Itachi can't stop them that way, he uses Izanagi/Izanami to win
5) If by some chance Itachi can't do these things, and loses to the first 2 Hokage (as I'd expect him to in a fair fight), who cares? Oro didn't "win", Oro was killed at the start of the fight.

In reality, we've seen this fight... Oro loses in the opening moments, trapped in Itachi's genjutsu (if he's lucky). Otherwise he's turned to toast.
