Orochimaru and Nagato's Rinnegan - Did anyone notice?

I think Oro preferred a the sharigan because he had seen it's potential a lot more in itachi's training than he saw nagato perform any sort of jutsu when he was in akaktuski. Oro knew about stuff like izaragi and other optial jutsus of the uchiha, jutsus you can't perform with a rinnegan.

Orochimaru wanted the Rikudō's power, the power Madara achieved, and for that he needed an Uchiha body. Nagato was given Madara's eyes, but could never seem to access half of their power: Susano'o, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, genjutsu, copying, etc. Orochimaru wanted the real deal, not a transplant.

I dont know about Itachi being 12...

i think oro is deeply involved in all this somehow (meaning that he knows of madara and obito's plan so that means that he also know's nagato well) nagato was not an option for oro since he was involved in the eye moon plan

Well, he said he knew of the plan. Also, Oro wanted an Uchiha body. The sharingan are a plus. Also, I will repeat what another member said: Do you think he has the balls to fight Nagato?

The scene op linked in his post , I don't believe that ever happened in the manga, I believe that scene was filler, i'll go recheck ,

There really is no reason to believe he ever even met deva in person... In part 1 akatsuki was not making any moves , almost at all... they met a few times in holographic form and that was it

Nah, the anime puts in things to fill in time to make episodes, alot of which are inconsistent with what was stated in the manga... one eg is Sasuke in the anime telling naruto he can tell which one of his shadow clones are real.. despite that being exactly opposite to what we know...

Only manga and databooks are actually cannon, and well any interviews with kishi himself

He had the balls to attack Itachi 1on1 even after knowing that Itachi had slaughtered the entire Uchiha clan by himself.

He was scared of Itachi, when Itachi joined the Akatsuki..... Everyone called "Nagato" Pein. So I don't think he even knew about his identity. Hell, even Jiraya didn't. Also, we are talking about the leader of the Akatsuki.. you know the one that kept everyone straight on their lines.

It's not that Oro doesn't have the balls to attack Nagato, but rather Oro knows Nagato can't use the full power of the Rinnegan.

It has to do with the progression of the Sharingan into the Rinnegan. Nagato can only use Rinnegan techs, unlike Madara who can use his Sharingan, EMS, and Rinnegan techs due to unlocking each level of the Sharingan. Also, take into consideration that with the Sharingan Orochimaru can successfully most jutsus he comes across, and be able to perform them. The Rinnegan cannot do so.

Problem..we have seen from the greatest uchiha to live... that it takes basically a person's whole life to unlock the Rinnegan through Natural process. Madara is only OP with that rinnegan because he is a EDO. Him doing those moves while being alive, would take alot of chakra. The Rinnegan doesn't need to copy..... Only thing that Sharingan has on rinnegan is the power of Perfect Susano'o.

And if you only wanna focus on stuff that Kishimoto himself has done.. and noone else..Then the manga you read online is also not canon. Due to editors making changes and helping Kishimoto. Anime will not counter it self.. You people just need to wait.... And I'm pretty sure alot of people have said that about Shadow clones of Naruto...

That is completely opposite to what kishi stated....shadow clones distribute the chakra evenly, not even byakugan can tell them apart.... This is why itachi could get tricked by Kakashi's clone... Why Pein could get tricked by Kakashi's clone.. BECAUSE they can't be told apart...

1) Once again where the hell are you getting this? nowhere has it ever been stated that Kishiworks on any of the anime episodes , The anime team have their own team of writers who don't work with kishimoto in ANY way or form, they give characters jutsu's and abiltiies they don't have... Kakuzu was able to use some water jutsu and another ability despite in the manga he had his hearts killed....

Sasori in the anime had a water slicer cannon thing, that he did not have in the anime, there are many more things added to fill time... that's what they are , fillers, Not cannon in any way

3) what the hell do you mean better? neji and sasuke were very much skilled enough to be able to see chakra through their eyes... shadow clones distribute chakra evenly through the clones, which makes it impossible to distinguish which is real....

In the anime sasuke said words he did not say in the manga, words that were incorrect by manga standards
