Part 1. I liked the fights better, the background music really made me bop my head, and there were more diverse theme. Part 2 in a nutshell is all about 'peace peace peace'.

That, and the nine tails transformations in part 2 are insane... I remember in part 1 he barely ever went into it, and I got that sudden rush of evergy every time he did. It's a lot less rare in part 2.

New Naruto. The fights on the old one were more intense though.

I think they are both good for different reasons
Part 1: Lots of humour, character backgrounds and had some good fight scenes
Part 2: Still some humour but not much, more serious but the fight scenes are awesome
To be honest part 1 for its character introductions and humour and part 2 for fight scenes

Part 1 all the way, great character introductions and developments, really good music, epic but not op fights; which makes them even better. Story and things got questioned in part 1 was also much better, also characters' screentime and power levels was more balanced. Part 2 is still good though.

The part one has better fights and is more funny, but part 2 a lot more characters are introduced who are more likeable in my opinion, and I actually like the storyline better lol
