Well sasori did turn him into a human Puppet. Sasori most likely destroyed the remains of the 3rd kazekage after turning him into a human puppet.

All assumptions. And what if the remains of the first generation were hidden somewhere or burried? I mean Orochimaru only got the Hokage because well its konoha... lol. Pretty sure he would've liked to summon the first generation if he could instead of Asuma or kimimaro....

I don't see why the first gen of kages bodies would be anymore hidden than the kages that came after them, besides that kabuto has basically spied of almost every village in his life time.

Two reasons spring to mind about why he didn't use the,

He either couldn't find their bodies, Or they weren't anything special compared to the kages that came after, I'd like to think it a mixture of both.

Well I'm more into the "experienced , bosses" type badass.

Sadly no, it is not assumption but a fact of that time. Unless you can prove it wrong.

Same logic can be used for Tobirama during Hashirama's time and Tobirama during his Hokage reign. ... But we don't know of the change V_V.

well I know this isn't cannon, but in the fillers they show kabuto's process of finding the bodies and there were hundreds of trial and errors before he found the edos he was looking for.

But Im pretty sure considering they were kage, they would have been exceptionally powerful regardless and helped boost kabuto's power.....so I think it's because he couldn't find their DNA.

We don't know what circumstances they died in either.....it could have been something like Jiraiya's death where it was just in the deep abyss of the ocean
