Thanks for picking this up so soon.
This is a custom Naruto Role-Playing game. New players make a biography with access to either ninjutsu, taijustu, genjustu or kenjustu, along with one of the base five elements (fire, earth, water, wind and lightning). As you rank up through battles of ninja world mission, you can increase your rank and your abilities. Of course, you have access to other unique skills in the show and new skills exclusive to the Role-Play.

As I mentioned before, the main place you actual Role-Play is the Ninja World, an area full of unique landmarks and sites where you can complete missions and interact with other role-players and NPCs in character.

This is a brief rundown.

Someone tag on for my mans, he must be occupied.

Right so I suppose I’ll be taking over from here. The brief introduction you gave was as expected, but there’s quite a bit more to the NRP I should say. One thing I’d like to start with is understanding some of the more basic mechanics of the game. Now you already have a character approved and all, so let’s start with that. The character sheet, or as we call it here in the roleplay “biography” or ‘bio’ for short is the life blood of the roleplay. These are your passports into the game, without a character you wont be able to participate. The official rules pertaining to them can be found here: https://animebase.me/threads/basic-bio-rules-template-ranks.717680/

In the roleplay, each RPer is allowed three characters of their own, which allows you to personally dive into the characters individual and make unique movesets for each of them. The third bio however is only unlocked when one of your characters reaches Jounin, in which the third slot is active. There’s a unique bio type known as Prestige Bios which allows for more unique combination types, but follows its own criteria among other things. This currently is only available to Official Sage Ranked Members but will soon be released to the general public, but that’s a pending update by the staff to happen. Other bios, which we call canon bios can also be made. These can be literal bios of the canon character, which they then get their own unique skills if they had any in the show/manga etc. These can be “skinned” over, with what we call Bio Skins. It’s basically having a custom variant of a canon character though still following the restrictions of the canon bio. The most perfect example of this is Drackos’ Solomon bio which is a Bio Skin of Hamura. This adds in a little more diversity among those who chooses to use canon characters. Some canon characters however require you to purchase or perform a battle test or ability mission in the ninja world, sometimes both. These are much higher tiered characters like the forementioned Hamura i.e.

Any questions before we dissect more into the character sheet?

No questions for now.
Right so the fundamentals of a character sheet comes in different parts, but namely we’ll touch on the ones only really relevant. Character build, which is usually how the bio is laid out in terms of its ability loadout. The most common of the three are:

Hiden Ability + Advanced Ninjutsu + Mode

Kekkai Genkai + Advanced Ninjutsu + Mode

Advanced Element + Advanced Ninjutsu + Mode

These three are the most common of the line up; but of course there’s also dual ability set ups; which can be like Advanced Element + Hiden Ability. This combination however comes at the cost of losing your Advanced Ninjutsu and Mode Slot for your combination etc. There are some rulings pertaining to this found here: https://animebase.me/threads/bio-rules-quick-access.718945/post-20849122

The other important part of your character sheet is your specialties. These are very important cause they provide tangible boons to your character that can often times make a difference in battle, so here they are:
https://animebase.me/threads/bio-specialty-list.768068/

Any of these in particular catches your attention?

Hmm…well, I suppose it is what it is. Never the less, the biography is your key to the rule play. Moving along, is there any particular topic you’re fuzzy on, we can go over it or I can pick for you. Let’s see how much you personally know and don’t know.

Oh sure, let's roll with that. At first glance, what is that you wish to know about it? Once you tell me, I can start giving up a more in depth look into it. The Ninja World is a pretty fascinating place, I'll admit but its also one the harder places to keep up with.
Can I get a breakdown of how landmark travel works?

Right so here we go: https://animebase.me/pages/map/

This is the interactive map, which allows you to literally click the landmark and it will send you to it. Now how to travel is fairly simple, lets say you want to go from landmark #1 which is the Ruins of Chungsu, and you wanna go to landmark #2, you literally just have to sort of "draw" a line and if you directly land on a LM, that is exactly where you go. Travel between landmarks is 45 minutes in IRL time. You can find more rules pertaining to travel here: https://animebase.me/threads/ninja-world-rules-third-edition.780174/post-22070355

Any other questions about the NW you'd like me to go over?

Um, I have one last NW question. How do you claim a landmark for yourself?

You'd first need to make a WSE clan, then simply go to an unclaimed landmark and claim it, pretty simple tbh.
Cool, I have no more WSE questions. Can we go over timeframe rules, specifically interrupting an opponent's move. Could you show an example of a successful interruption and an unsuccessful one?

This move here is a perfect example of interrupting a move successfully I should say, as the moment she tried to use all her techniques, I simply teleported out of the way to successfully stop the latter half of her move. Most unsuccessful attempts would a person trying to counter and interrupt a move but the damage or technique they used didn't work as intended.

Ima be real; I don't have any more questions. Like about anything, we can wrap this up.
